As long as it's not another "son of jaws" type movie, I think it has real potential.

Speaking of killer shark movies, when the hell is Hollywood going to get off it's dick and make the Steve Altman book Meg into a movie?

It is currently being made I think.
The guy from CHUD.com is producing it or something.

I may check Wal-Mart out this weekend and see if they have it already. I doubt they will though as the ones up here never seem to have DVDs in advance of their release date.

see this idea I don't mind. At least its a continuing part, not a remake of an original. Hense Texas Chainsaw, Dawn of the Dead, etc............

The mechanical sharks they had in Deep Blue Sea were pretty impressive. One of the extras on the dvd had a good segment on them. They were basically little seaworthy jets.

 I went to my local Wal-Mart June 9th in the afternoon, and they had one copy of JAWS 30TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION, but it was in Fullscreen, but I grabbed it and put it on layaway. I picked it up this morning out of layaway. I figured, I have the Widescreen 25th edition, if I want to see the movie widescreen.

 It is 2 disc with a 65 page Limited Booklet. The 2 hour documentary, and some other features are on the 2nd Disc.

I always thought Jaws should gnaw off bikinis and then chase the victim, would've been alot more interesting.

I couldn't find it today. Of course I only went to Best Buy. Maybe I'll check out Wal-Mart tomorrow. Oh well, I drowned my sorrows with a bunch of other DVD purchases today.

Doesn't matter anyway. I'm just jazzed about it coming out and a possibility of a new Jaws movie.

I thought he was producing MEG. I'm pretty sure of it. Much better news than a new Jaws.

I found this on CNN Entertainment page this morning....It's kind of confirming what I had already thought, and for me at least, it definitely makes up my mind that I will not be buying this:

ok , I guess I can live without the extra hour of documentary footage, maybe a friend will buy it and I can see it there. No rebuy here
