bruce campbell book signin

went to the book signing here in tampa... it was pretty fun. they decided to let him sign other things besides books so i grabbed a traffic cone from my car... i dont think he was amused that much... he said he was going to call the cops if i didnt get out of there... of course sarcastically like he is. also in every picture he pointed to the camera so i decided to put my fingers in a circle around his... he slapped my hand so i didnt get that picture. but i ended up asking him about movies they made previous to within the woods like its murder! he said it was full of music and sound effects ( i guess like within) and he said its like 80 minutes long. i asked him about maybe putting it on his site but he said that would be cutting it close and said to just look for a bootleg of it. everyone was pretty tired, i was the last person there.. so i decided to let him go rest and the other people so i didnt get info on the dvd. he was a really cool person in that he talked to everyone personally so it took like 4 hours for him to sign all of the books(and there werent many people there.) if anybody cares i can put some pics up. fanalysis was pretty cool too.

Damn, that's what I get for not reading the newspaper on a regular basis! I would've like for him to autograph my Limited Edition: Army of Darkness DVD!

I'd be interested in seeing some pics Gnaghi! When was it anyway? (Damn!)

the second one with my hand was taken right after he slapped mine, so at least i have something. funny story: i was at the bookstore that was selling the books and he called on the phone and they were trying to figure out who should pick him up from his hotel... they all looked at me and said i bet you want to take him... i was like hell yeah. and they actually contemplated it for a minute then decided that an employee should so that they wouldnt get in trouble. i was that close to having bruce campbell in my car! that would have been a great picture.

it was monday at 6 at the tampa theatre... i posted about it i guess before you joined. and it ended up being free so if you didnt buy his book you could still go and get something signed. they were going to show army of darkness but due to distribution rights they couldnt get it.

OK, I'm jealous! :( Ghanghi, Let me know when something like this hits the Tampa Bay area again...PLEASE! I've alwayz wanted to meet Mr. Bruce Campbell! I just never know when convention & the sort are happening around town!
