Yes I did, indeed!

Twisted Nightmare
Silent Madness
Don't Go In The Woods Alone
The Unseen

What do you think of these?
It's been probably 15 years since I've seen any of them!

Hated The Unseen when I saw it in '82, but it's not so bad. We were expecting something scarier. I saw Don't Go in the Woods in '82 at the cinema with Hills Have Eyes. Low-rent, cheap, cheesy and sleazy...it's a fun one!

I only rented them because they weren't on region 1 dvd yet and I wanted to see if they still held up.

I have fond memories of watching Twisted Nightmare (along with Berserker the same night) on tape back in the days of video rentals. Even though we had a blast making fun of it... still loved every cheesy minute of it. I also remember the old TWE tape was suffering from bad audio.
I'd buy it on DVD if they ever release it on disc.

Hey, what's wrong with VHS?! :D I still scour the used VHS bins for a forgotten gem.

I've seen The Unseen. It's fairly sleazy and "Flounder" from Animal House plays a killer tard. Nothing special, but it does have a few effective scenes.

I kinda enjoy watching slashers on VHS. If the tape's not worn out it gives a raw feel of the movie. Hi-Fi VHS sound is also quite good, IMO, and much better than the Dolby 2.0/mono of the majority of low-budget movies slapped onto DVD *from my experiences*. But the main draw is of course, original cover art and buying them used for $1 to $3.
