Hope it's not really like the original TCM. But I do hope it's as mean as it's supposed to be.

This flick reminds me alot of Haute Tension.
BTW, do you guys know any other good euro flicks like HT?
I mean more of the newer stuff, with that contemporary style.

Apparently "The Descent" is supposed to be really brutal and bloody... from the director of Dog Soldiers. Just released last week or so on Region 2 DVD... 2 disc special edition.
I ordered it... can't wait.

Trailer Park: Special 'Wolf Creek' Internet Trailer in HD
Today Apple.com posted an exclusive internet trailer for Dimension Films' Wolf Creek (review #1, #2) in both HD and regular QuickTime formats. Greg McLean's film, which was made for less than $2 million, centers on a group of backpackers who have a run in with a loopy stranger, played by John Jarratt. It was supposed to be the vacation of a lifetime in the Australian Outback - full of fun, sun and adventure. But what happened to a trio of twenty-something backpackers took a wrenching detour into the depths of unrelenting terror. The film hits theaters December 25th.

I'm completely on the fence about this one so I think I'll have to go see it to form a valid opinion. It really looks like it could go either way, but from the early buzz I've been hearing it should be pretty good.
