There wuz a lot of good choices.....but I got a soft spot for the newer House On Haunted Hill so I voted 4 that one! Maybe 'cause some of it was filmed in my backyard in Orlando's Islands of Adventure Theme park (the roller coaster scene in the beginning is actually the 'Hulk' rollercoaster at the park)!

cool neighborhood Peter, did you catch any actual filming when they did House on Haunted Hill ?

The park is very new & when they actually filmed that scene the park hadn't even opened to the public yet!

Good poll by the way!

yeah, fulcis Cemetary House and the Haunted Hill House would've been my second choices also. but i thought that House was also quite entertaining....

House was good fun, but I really think House II was much "funner" and benefitted from better pacing.

As for this poll, I am a slasher man at heart, so I really liked House on Sorrority Row. Good early 80's slasher mayhem. Last House on the Left is a close runner up!

Man, I gotta go with this film!! One of my all time favorite "house" films. Has some SKINNY PUPPY sound bites mixed through out, Roddy is cool as hell, esp when he reaches back and smacks that chick when she fries out on him! Overall just a good entertaining film. Sweet ending too!!! :D

I am going with Usher because it is one of Corman's best Poe adaptations and it has a great perfromance by Price.

Where's House II: The Second Story!?!?! It's only the greatest house film of all time as it has the master thespian himself, Arye Gross, in it. :)

HAHAHAHA Arye Gross!!! What a dork. Even though it didnt have the work House in the title....Shocker was the 3rd installment in the House series and it kicked ass.
