I recently ordered this set from Amazonuk and when I opened the package couple of discs were scratched and had dot marks on them. I sent it back and got the replacement today. Now most of the discs have weird dot marks on them and the sphere has scratches on it. Has anyone else had problems with this set? I am thinking about sending it back and seeing if they will let me have the digiback instead.

Mine arrived safe and sound, no scratches on sphere or discs... but I haven't actually played them in a player yet.

Hmm, I haven't opened my copy, but I've had no customers return the ones we were selling. Hopefully mine's fine... :nervous:

Even though I wanted the Sphere, I bought the Digipak, and haven't had any problems, but I have only viewed Phantasm 2 and 3, but I have not viewed the extras on the 5th disc yet.

My discs all play fine. There is a very tiny scuff on the sphere, but that was unintentionally self-inflicted.

I had one Sphere that had a disc with a few light scuffs. I had it replaced, but the replacement was the same way. I have the digi version, too, but I never opened it. I've tried to become less picky these days. I always check the discs of movies, games, etc. and it seems that a good portion of them have atleast a tiny defect that used to drive me bonkers. I still don't go for scratched up discs, but a small defect that doesn't affect playback doesn't bother me anymore.

Sounds to me like you need a support group of some sort. Either that or a psychiatrist. No offense intended, but that kind of OCD generally needs a prescription to treat.

Like I said, it doesn't bother me as much now. I mean, if you buy something new, you'd expect it to be in new condition, but I've learned that shit like box sets are put together by hand, so things get a little messed up here and there.

Okey dokey. If that's how you want it, then my interest rate is at a 10,000% weekly percentage rate. My lovely manservant Guido will be by your domecile shortly to collect funds or rearrange anatomy.
