WHO DOESN'T LOVE 'CANDY STRIPERS'?
The folks over at Fangoria got a heads up about a new horror flick from Snowfall Films called CANDY STRIPERS. It looks like a blast!
Welcome to a hospital where the hot stripers (not strippers, sheesh!) act more than a little strangely. For one thing, they're always sucking on candy. It appears that there's more to these lovely ladies than meets the eye. Could they actually be flesh eating, blood sucking, gore gorging aliens in need of male flesh? Yes. I believe they could be.
I spoke with Suzanne Lyons of Snowfall this afternoon. She is VERY passionate about what she does. They put together WindChill Films to start doing some fun, lower budget horror films. CANDY STRIPERS is their first release. However, don't be fooled by the light-heartedness of the flick. Suzanne has no desire to start pumping out just any old horror film. Look for SEANCE and DESERT OF BLOOD. SEANCE, written and to be directed by Mark L. Smith (they will be looking for some genre, SAG actors), is a more serious ghost story. They're looking to do a total of 10 titles in the next four or five years. That's aggressive and we wish them luck!
Screen Gems will be handling distribution. They want to do a DVD release as soon as possible.
I expect a screener in the next week or so stay tuned for a review!
