I don't consider V a guilty pleasure. It's pretty fucking solid (well, the miniseries at least). I guess that's the shitty thing about being created in the 80s, everyone is ashamed of the stuff they liked.

Saturn 3 is a great flick!!
It's not space or future sci-fi, but Congo is definately science fiction and a big guilty pleasure of mine. It has Laura Linney, Tim Curry and music by Jerry Goldsmith. It doesn't get much better for me.
Oh, and it also has the best phrase ever: "What about them?"
"Put them on the endangered species list!" And Ms. Linney blows them all to hell.

The original TRANCERS was one I always got a kick out of."Dry hair is for squids !"
One that frequently gets ignored as Sci-Fi,but which I love is REPO MAN,that film kills me.
While not what I'd call "good",I sort of love Luigi Cozzi's STARCRASH and CONTAMINATION.I wonder how big a check you need to cut to get Christopher Plummer to pop up in your flick ? His big scene at the end of STARCRASH slays me.As to CONTAMINATION,I had to give 'em credit for shooting gore scenes like a 4th of July fireworks display, people blowing up in unison !
Class of 1999 had me rolling in the theater. I thought someone was going to come and pummel me because I was laughing so hard when the teacher (was this Malcolm McDowell? I haven't seen this since the theater so I am hazy here) was robo-spanking one of the students, oh it KILLED me.
This one wins, though, because it has Malcolm McDowell and Stacy Keach, AND because of the soundtrack, Nine Inch Nails, 24-7 Spyz and the end credits song, "Come The Day", by Midge Ure.
I cannot wait till this one hits DVD in R1... and they'd better hurry up with it, too! This movie isn't a guilty pleasure though... no shame in my game.

Deep Star Six - this movie has always been a blast for me
Legend - theatrical cut w/ Tangerine Dream score - I generally HATE fantasy with a few exceptions, but there's something about this movie - the director's cut was too long and Goldsmith's score didn't work for me - probably because I'd enjoyed the theatrical version for so long

That's kind of funny because over here in Europe, Ridley Scott's "director's cut" was the theatrical version and I'm so used to the Goldsmith score (and in love with it) that I've resisted watching the US theatrical cut ... maybe I should give it a try ;)

The Faculty, Waterworld, Strange Days...actually not really guilty about them. I love them all.
Strange Days
I wouldn't call Strange Days a guilty pleasure at all. It's a fantastic movie - and it got some great reviews. I think it tanked at the box office, though ... Still, it's one of my favorite "futuristic" action movies.

Yeah I think it would fall into more of the "no one's seen it" category. Either way it's a movie I've always loved.
Don't we have a Sci-Fi specific forum?
Anyway, since it gets so much backlash, one of my guilty fave's would have to be Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace
Also, post apocalypse flicks (Mad Max type stuff) may not be considered sci-fi by some, but one of my guilty pleasures among that genre is A Boy and His Dog.

Although I'm not ashamed or feeling guilty about it, I love Galaxy Of Terror.
I'm sure that would be considered a guilty pleasure by some (even my GF, who refuses to watch it despite my ravings. )

Many of the movies on the Cult Video label are good cheesy fun. All those bimbo movies are great.
Short Circuit is a bad movie. Seriously!
