I was wondering if anyone had any information on this disc or on the movie in general. I have been considering ordering it, but I can't find much in the way of oppinions.

It's pretty piss poor man. I have a jap import and Shreik Show used an identical master for their disc, and it looks okay. As for the film, people may know it as Plankton. Everything is awful about it and the only thing that saves it at times is D'amato's invilvement that seeps through here and there such as cavier oozing out of a vagina (it sounds a lot cooler than it really is).
Try it, you might like it, but it is no way a good film or even an enjoyable one at that.

Hmmm, I'll have to think about this one. I want to support Shriek Show because they look like they have a bright future ahead of them, but this disc isn't sounding too hopeful. Oh well, only time and my bank account will tell.

I watched it Friday night with a couple friends. If you are into really bad movies this one is a must have! Bad effects and a dumb script. We laughed so hard we were blowing beer out our noses. Favorite line - "Wow, this must be a refridgerator":p

John from Shreik Show personally told me it was the same as the Jap disc (that's the only one I have-that's the only one I need) and that is fullframe.
Hope that helps

a good disc, with a nice looking ltbx transfer, and interview with the director, a stills gallery, and some trailers for other Media Blasters releases (including Demonia!). the film itself is a badfilm blast, with wretched diaogue, goofy creatures, and naked girls. i loved it.

One of my true guilty pleasure films. Well maybe guilty isnt a strong enough word..lets try shameful.
A group of way overaged teens take a trip on a tiny boat into the open ocean, run out of gas(of course) and come across a derelict ship.Once aboard they discover its a research vessel and its crew is missing. They find bags of white powder and then think its a drug smuggling ship...after all the interior is decked out like the set of a 70's porno.Soon they realize it is indeed a research ship and the crew has been offed by its experiments..horny killer amphibian..Plankton!..err..fish.
Al Passeri delivers one of the most howlingly bad/good films ive seen. You got lines spouted like "That dead man back there...these could have been his shoes." and "My tits are getting too big,i need a new bra." all this set to the worst dubbing ive ever heard. It does deliver some gross out grue for sure though.....and of course random nudity and horny fish man boot knockin'.
