Just a thread of curiousity, but how many discs do you own? I've had my player since April of 2000 and right now I've got about 580 DVD's, at least 200 of which are horror. I would love to compile a list so many of us could compare, but I wouldnt want to bore anyone by having to read a huge list of 200+ horror discs, but if anyone would care to know, just reply so and I would be more than happy to do so. So...how many discs do you have??

Funny U guys mention porn! I own 2 - 4 hour porn DVDs & I never include them as part of my collection.

....VHS, DVD, Laserdisc, does your quality of porn matter? Not 4 me! I don't have to hear moaning & groaning & "skin-slapping" in 5.1 Dolby Digital audio! (But I got an uncle that's got about 100 or so DVD porns...for shame!)

I probably just passed the century mark on DVDs in the last week or so, and I've had my player just around 2 years. I have over 250 Laserdiscs though, and I think due to blowout sales, I've bought more LDs since I got a DVD player. Weird, huh?

No porn in my collection, but I do have 2 Hong Kong Category 3's, and one Hentai disc.

I am up to 160 without counting double discs, and I have had my player since December 1999. It is mainly horror and action films as well as many hard-edged dramas. No porn in my collection, but I do own The Gift...yeah Katie Holmes! :)

Well, I stoped counting the dvds sometime ago (I have dvds everywhere in the house, and you won't believe the trouble I have when I try to find an older dvd...), but I had about 320 dvds at the end of last year.

This year I bought a little less dvds than usual (I'm always broke... :D ), but I would say I have near 400 dvds.

I hate you guys (the ones that live in the US). ;)
If I had the chance to get dvds with free-shipping, and at the prices you get them I would have about 3X more dvds... :mad:
I mean, sometimes (a lot of times) I pay more for the shipping + taxes (customs) than with the actual dvds...

By the way, I live in Europe but all my dvds are R1 US editions, except for the canadian "Black Christmas" dvd, about 20 asian dvds, and only 6 european R2 dvds (plus 2 dvd-singles from R.E.M. , european releases).

Funktion, have you tried DVD Box Office? You may be able to avoid postage and customs charges altogether....

Recommended...even if they're sometimes a little slow at obtaining titles due to their Canadian location.....
