That’s awesome. I hope I have enough to get the BIG teddy bear some day.

By the way, I was the first to vote for I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. I did so because it is AWESOME and deserves to be on this list. If they recognize how great it is, then they should be the recipient of these “brownie points.”

Really, how great can Suspiria be? It doesn’t haven star Brandy.

P.S. Nothing is wrong with Romancing the Stone either. That movie is also great, though it’s not a horror film.

haha. Give me a month! And if you're talking about I Still Know as horror than I think the only movie that I could bring into the conversation would be The Fog remake and than we could compare which of the two is better. hmm... that would be a tough one. We should do a poll. :hum:

And if they are just doing it to be jackasses (Which no offense guys, as I'm not saying you are and think it's possible to like movies like that, as I enjoy plenty of cheese myself!) Actually, I'm hard-pressed to think of a Hall of Fame that has a limit/cap on the number of members allowed inside.

Music, sports, etc etc....their respective Hall of Fame organizations add new inductees each year, every year.

It's not like the Baseball/Basketball/Pro Football/Rock and Roll/etc etc Hall of Fame will one day close their doors and say "Sorry guys! We can only allow x-number of members into the Hall. Time to close the inductions off for good." :p

If it's the frequency of the inductions that keeps you up at night, mate, then maybe we can do one Inductee thread a year....?

--Music, sports, etc etc....their respective Hall of Fame organizations add new inductees each year, every year.--

The key is, every year. Which infers ceremony, and event, an honor. When it's every day another entry, then basically - eventually - any and everything will get in it.

Don't worry, I truly don't care, it's just rather pointless to me and somewhat funny. Given that we're going to go on with this daily, then I bet we can fill in at least ten titles without bothering to check back - it's just another "good horror film" thread, that's all. Just an observation, mate. I'm switching my vote to House of the Dead to join in the campaign ;)

If you want to get technical, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, for instance, only adds members that had their first album more than 25 years ago. By those rules, any movie for a horror hall of fame would need to be released in or before 1981. I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, shouldn't even apply. Neither should NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. Technically, THE THING shouldn't even make the list until next year. Of course, "next year" is only 3 and a half months away so I could let that slide. ;)

I'm not saying we should go by RRHF rules, but generally speaking all Hall of Fames have rules that inductees must be of a certain age or be retired for a specific length of time before they qualify. What is it for the Horror Hall of Fame? 10 years? 20? 25?

To each his or her own, I say! Oh, and... I will always know how you voted this summer. That means YOU, Ryan.
