View Full Version : October Madness

Well, Christmas is finally here...at least if you are a horror fan. Today marks the first day of everyone's favorite month of horror, and to celebrate the occassion we will be upping the number of reviews, contests and polls for the entire month. While a review a day may be a bit too tough to handle between three reviewers, we are going to try our best to get at least a review every second day throughout the 31 day month. There have already been a ton of great horror releases in September (Universal's 75th editions of DRACULA and FRANKENSTEIN, Criterion's SPIRIT OF THE BEEHIVE, Paramount's Stephen King slate) but there are many more important horror releases coming our way this month, and we'll be sure to cover as much as we can. So thanks for sticking with the site, guys and gals, and here's to a great month of Halloween, Friday the 13th and good ol' fashioned fright!

Since this is an October / halloween thread, anyone got schedules for horror showings on cable channels this month? like AMC or TCM?
also, any word on Halloween being re-released by the end of the month? Will it be a nation wide release or just a few theaters like NOES?

Goke:Body Snatcher From Hell is on tonight at 2am on TCM.

Looks like AMC will be rockin' the last half of the month...of course, that's only if you like edited full-frame versions packed with tons of commercial breaks.

Whooo! I love this month, and can't wait to read more reviews and take part in more contests.
And a Friday the 13th this month? Good stuff.
