looks interesting anybody seen it and what did you people think of it?
I liked it alot. But then I'm a Full Moon Junkie (with the munchies!). I thought it harkened back to oddball FM flicks like BAD CHANNELS and HEAD OF THE FAMILY. Charles Band took the limitations of his new flicks but used them for good - i.e. that the film is mostly on one set - a stoner apartment - works highly for the story (I used to know a few stoners, and they never left the room either), Jack Deth turns up uttering his classic line "Dry hair's for squids!" which was worth the price of purchase, and Tommy Chong (who also killed in HALF BAKED, which this flick seems a horror variation of) provides perhaps the funniest damn exposition ever.
Currently only availible at http://www.fullmoondirect.com as it's technically a pre-release sale.

I got it late last month at a decent price at DVDEmpire (http://www.dvdempire.com/Exec/v4_item.asp?userid=99365066400013&item_id=1214609&searchID=1052809), but I haven't watched it yet. However, that Deth bit you spoiled will probably get me to bump it higher up the "to watch" list.

Beaverbong is more of a horrorshow than any of those. :nervous:

I went to a Full Moon show a month back and they were selling the dvds as well as replica bongs in the lobby. I bought the dvd but, shamfully, haven't even taken a peek at it yet.

I thought it was a pretty entertaining flick. There were several hilarious moments peppered throughout. Most of the guest appearances (like Chong) don't show up until somewhat later in the film. You can clearly tell the film was shot on a set location, but it works. But, I could have done without the Rap/Hip-Hop which pervades the film.
The DVD is anamorphic, which was surprising considering none of the other recent DVD's were. Hopefully they all (the new films) will be 16x9 from now on.

DVD Empire has it for sale now and Amazon sells it though the Market Place direct from Full Moon for $12.99. Full Moon also sells it on their own site and on eBay.
