Superstition is the better film by far, but I do enjoy the crappiness of Witchery. Too bad Shriek Show screwed the DVD.

Count me as another vote for Superstition. I haven't seen Witchery, but the late 80s is generally not a great era for horror. Too much hairspray.

It looks llike Witchery is losing ...
Superstition is indeed the better film overall...I get more entertainment out of Witchery though...so it gets my vote.:D

How did Shriek Show botch the DVD? Out of sheer curiosity from someone who thought about picking it up...

Way over-matted. The aspect ratio is entirely screwed up, with much of the picture information missing. Even heads are chopped off in some scenes!
Here's a thread (http://www.horrordvds.com/vb3forum/showthread.php?t=31161) on it.
