I’d be curious as to what the masses had to say was their favorite Slasher Kill??? I guess it doesn’t have to be a kill from a Slasher flick, but it would have to be damn good not to be. One that I can think of right off the top of my head as an example of a non-Slasher Kill, would be Brad Pitts - Hood Ornament Impersonation, in “MEET JOE BLACK”. Now that struck a nerve! Probably the only redeeming aspect for the entire film. Don’t get me wrong, I love Anthony Hopkins (Hannibal Lector- the man, the myth, the Legend!). So lets here it! Here are a few...

Gage getting hit by the truck was hard to watch cause it happens in real life all the time. I always wondered why he wasnt really fucked up when he came back from the dead. Not even a scratch!!!

Hey, you finally did it Stryffe! Congrats! Lots of cool scenes to choose from. Well, i guess you already know what i voted for :) , and here's the reason why:
I voted for Angie Dickinson's elevator murder in Dressed To Kill. I love this scene because it was filmed with lots of style. From that moment those elevator doors open, showing the first fatal strike of the killer in the mirror only, the blood splattering on the display...sure, this scene was "inspired" by Hitchcock's Psycho shower sequence but what the hell, it's still one of the best death-by-razor scenes ever!

My 2 all time favs aren't on the list.:(

The sleeping bag slammed on tree from Friday the 13th 7.

The impalement + cutting in half of the camper girl in Jason Goes To Hell.

There are quite a few missing. In fact, there is more than that.

Although several of these aren't from a slasher, I can admit that I was fully surprised at Brad Pitt's death in Meet Joe Black. That was simply damn amazing.

I went with the shotgun to the head blast from Maniac.... second place to the sloooow throat slash in The Prowler.

If the drill through the head from City Of the Living Dead was in there instead of the gut puking... that may have stolen my vote!

If we're strictly talking "slasher" movies here,I'm partial to the bayonet scene in THE PROWLER.The splinter scene from ZOMBIE(not a slasher) is listed though, and thats a great one.I'd like to give a shout out to one of my favorite murder scenes on film, though, the opening double murder in Argento's SUSPIRIA,one of the most memorably brutal in the genre.

Voted for the kill in Phenomena for sentimental reasons...was the first "gore" movie i ever saw as a teenager and i was very impressed with that particular scene.
Mind you, it's still my favourite Argento flick.

Didn't notice Anatomy was there til after voting, so would've gone that had I seen it.

The bandsaw scene in Intruder is another good one, and recently the slit throat in Haute Tension and the "head on a stick" scene in Wolf Creek.

I voted for

"Tom Savini’s Close Encounter With a Shot Gun in “MANIAC”!"

but I think my favourite right now is not listed, it's the "head through the banister, decapitated by the dresser" in High Tension. When I first saw that I cringed like a 13 year old girl, haha, awesome. I haven't felt like that watching a movie in a long time.

I went with Angie in Dressed to Kill, but only because my favorite kill-scene (and one of my all time favorite scenes) is not listed:

The peephole scene from Opera. That has to be one of the most stylish, shocking scenes I've ever seen in my life. Everything about it is so perfect, from the realistic effects to the not-so-plausible exploding phone. It's pure extravaganza and I love it!

MANIAC! That's been one of my favorite kills since I first saw it. Fucking awesome!

Went with the wood in the eye scene from Zombi although I think one of the most brutal scenes (and this could serve in the "good scenes in bad movies" category) would be the tent sex scene in Jason Goes to Hell DC - good lead up and great pay-off.

The sleeping bag slammed on tree from Friday the 13th 7.
That one would be my favourite too.

Of the ones listed though I'd go with the kid's death in The Blob. I honestly wasn't expecting that to happen. Plus it was gooey.

I had to go with the "eye" scene in Zombie. It takes a lot to make me squirm but that scene does it to me every time.

Just disgusting... I love it!
