Unconfirmed (http://www.rue-morgue.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19233), but it appears that this film is finished.
I say bring it on, as I am already pumped enough to be revisiting some Blind Dead action on the big screen this October.
I dunno about this. It looks very "filmed on video", and without the original director involved, I have my doubts. I'll give it a rent nonetheless.

Yeah, it looks kinda cheap (especially those titles on the trailer!)...but I do love those Templars.

Much as I would so love another Blind Dead film, I'm skeptical as to whether this will be any good. Will it be true to the vision of the late Amando de Ossorio?

That looks like a fan made film.

A Blind Dead film without de Ossario?
No thanks.

This is the first I've heard of this. I agree with the others who say this looks cheap. I can't seem to find anything about it anywhere outside of that Rue Morgue thread. I'll keep my eyes on it and see if it starts to look interesting.

I can't give that kind of reaction, because I'd be open to a new Blind Dead film.
However... Yeah, this looks like a cheap fan film. I'll pass. Without a budget, there's no point.

Without a budget, there's no point.Yeah,at least de Ossario had big budgets.

Big enough. They were shot on film, weren't they?

I can respect that, if it was done right with the right person at the camera, it could be cool. But the Blind Dead movies were so much de Ossario's babies, that it would just seem wrong to do another one without him (and after 30 years no less).
It's kinda like doing an Evil Dead 4 without Sam Raimi...
And yeah, the whole cheap fan film aspect of it kinda seals the deal. :D
