This one seems to have snuck in under the radar. Company Of Wolves is listed at a few UK sites (AmazonUK, SendIt, Play) for October 15th. Most places have it on sale for £14.99.

Anyone have some more info? Anyone in the UK with a BR Player? Someone pick up a copy and let us know if it's region coded.

From my understanding all BR titles are region encoded.

HD titles are region free

A lot of BluRay titles aren't region coded. I have the Starship Troopers BR from the UK.

Here's some more info on Region Free BluRay discs:

Which BluRay Titles Are Region Free? (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=743121)

And here's a site that lists Region Free BluRays:

I have yet to find any online USA retailers carrying any blu ray import dvds. Only place that carried HD DVD imports is xploitedcinema. Did either of you by any chance find out yet if this DVD is region locked?

I haven't heard anything more about this BluRay. I'm hoping it's region free.

I placed a pre-order at BensonsWorld. Price was 14.49 shipped to the USA (about $30). That's the cheapest I could find.

Tony at Xploited will get any BR imports you're looking for. Just drop him an email.

OH BOY! ......What are you going to do if it's region locked??? As far as Tony goes yeah I know plus he luvz me:o . Actually the guy loves everybody very sweet person!!! Anyway for my that movie I'd have to own a BR player which I don't! LMAO!!! My old lady said she might buy me a playstation 3 for xmas. Dispite the fact that I don't like video games? I guess someone wants to play video games eh???

Anyway is it safe buying DVD's from bensonsworld?????

If it's region locked, I'll just sell it on eBay.

I haven't ordered from BensonsWorld in about 2 years. In the past they were the best UK online store with the lowest prices and free worldwide shipping. When they started charging for overseas shipping, and more UK retailers got into international sales, people started shopping elsewhere. But I've never had any problems with them in the past.

Got it today from Bensonsworld. Total price was around $30 shipped to the USA.

I can confirm that the Blu-Ray is Region Free (or at least playable on USA PS3s). The only special feature is the audio commentary track from the UK special edition DVD. The features it's missing from the SE DVD are the stills gallery and theatrical trailer.

I've only scanned through it briefly, but so far the video quality looks pretty good. It looks like the same print from the UK DVD. I noticed the same dust specks on both. But it appears to be a bit darker with better colors. The red cape really seems to pop. It's not a jaw-dropping upgrade, but I'm happy.
