It may seem crazy to you guys, but the guys in charge of the WB show "Supernatural" have cleared the rights to use Jason Voorhees in the new season -- episode 10. He'll do battle with the two main characters, Sam and Dean. Read on here (http://www.shocktillyoudrop.com/news/topnews.php?id=1603).
Well, a neutered Jason on a TV show. Isn't this interesting...

Wow, too bad this show is on Thursdays, which is the day I watch 30 Rock and The Office. I keep missing it. Great idea, though.

They're two CW pretty boys who try to solve many different supernatural mysteries (pun intended) -- think of it as "The X-Files" for the CW generation. And one of the on-screen brothers -- Jared Padalecki -- was in the House of Wax remake.

Ahh, thanks for that synopsis. I had never even heard of the show, but I'm hopelessly behind on all things television, like by decades. :eek2:

Being a horror fan, you owe it to yourself to check this one out. The first season is usually on sale for $20 on DVD.

"We have a twist on it so it is not really Jason out there.."
I've never seen Supernatural before but that line right there kills any interest I have in checking it out. If it isn't the "real" Jason they're going to deal with then forget it.

I think they mean hes its going to be like Jason comes out of the TV or is in some sort of a dream thing. I think it is Jason just that he will be able to be defeated.

That doesn't sound like "Jason" to me, that just sounds "lame". :(
(and btw, I know that it just "sounds" lame and it could actually turn out pretty cool, but everything I've heard so far doesn't really get my hopes up.)

It only makes sense. They can't very well have Jason kill Sam and Dean because they are kind of needed on the show, and they can't kill off the real Jason on Supernatural because he's needed for sequels and that would be lame and he is obviously eternal hello.
I am excited for it.

I recently stopped watching The Office and started watching Supernatural, and I'm happy that I did :D
Once I realized that it was basically The X-Files meets The Dukes of Hazzard I've enjoyed it more. Lots of cool monsters & demons being chased by two bumbling brothers.
