Union Station Media and Starz Home Entertainment have announced that the “Original Uncut Version” of the Sci Fi Channel creature feature MAMMOTH will make its DVDebut January 8. Vincent (THE INVISIBLE MAN) Ventresca stars as a paleontologist dealing with the resurrection of the prehistoric title beast (with some extra alien-endowed powers) in his small town, Summer (FIREFLY) Glau plays his teenaged daughter and Tom (ALIEN) Skerritt is his UFO-obsessed father. The movie will be presented in anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen with Dolby Surround 5.1 and 2.0 soundtracks, accompanied by behind-the-scenes footage and cast/crew interviews.:eek1:

Chances are this might suck but I still have to see this :(

I don't own a giant Mammoth movie, so this is appealing.

Here's hoping that didn't use CGI, but instead threw a rug over an elephant. :)

They ran that on Scifi Channel last year. If I recall, it was a fun movie. Nothing great, but as I said, it was Scifi Saturday Night.

I caught that airing too. It was fun but the CGI was just horrible.

Too bad Summer Glau and Tom Skerritt are in it. Now I have to watch it.
