Everyone wants a little piece of memorabilia to display amidst their mighty collections. Most people go for action figures for cost purposes, but what if you could have anything? Which movie item from my list would you most want to proudly own and display? If your favorite isn't on my list (and chances are it won't be) then list in here what your favorite would be, and pick the best from the list just to humor the site.

I went with teh hand from Evil Dead, but if I could pick anything I would probably take one of the Jason or Michael Myers mask's, or Freddy Krueger's glove.

Joshua's sandwich from TROLL 2 of course. Although, it's most likely very moldy by now. :D

Awesome pick, onebyone. If I had the bear costume, I would randomly go up to people on the street and punch them.

The ultimate in awesome Cage apparel would definitely be his snakeskin jacket from Wild at Heart as wearing it would symbolize your individuality and your belief in personal freedom.

Went with the SUSPIRIA slippers due to my fondness for Argento, but I'd really love to have Peter Cushing's medical bag from THE CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN or CAPTAIN KRONOS's blessed sword .

I saw the pharmacist (Reggie Bannister) prop from Wishmaster on eBay a long time ago. That would have rocked!

Pah! Now classic horror there. Lon chaney Jr's cane from Wolf Man would be neato - or Lugosi's cloak....

A few years ago, I saw one of the Vietnamese Army puppets from Meet the Feebles on eBay. I had no money at the time, but man, I kick myself all the goddamn time for not buying it.

I voted for the Hand from Evil Dead 2 but I'd rather have the deed to The Monroeville Mall, or if that isn't possible, then the Helicopter from Dawn of the Dead. The Scirocco would be third.

I'd love a prop from Phantasm, but I'm not sure how I'd go about preserving an ice cream cone. Keep it in a freezer, obviously, but either my wife or one of my kids would probably eat it.

I'd imagine after being in storage that long, it would probably Peter Bark and taste like death. I suppose you could get a mold of it?

Went with the Hand from Evil Dead 2, because I am a huge Evil Dead Trilogy fan.

Someone on eBay was selling one of the dummy midgets from Phantasm 2 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=260216607530) as well as Jason's Mother's head and a mechanical head from Day of the Dead just a few days ago. They are also selling stop motion skeletons from Army of Darkness.

I would love to have any of the lab equipment from Frankenstein or Bride of Frankenstein. The more the better!

No option for OTHER? Actually what I want is a costume, not exactly a prop. I would LOVE Alan's outfit, especially the pants, from Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things.

I'd go for West's Vile out of those choices. From one of my fav horror titles and isnt too huge and would sit on display nicely. Although from movies not on the list, I'd love a gadget from Predator, like the throwing disc. Or even his little medical kit.

I suppose you could get a mold of it?

You'd be more likely to get mold *off of* it.

The Tall Man's finger would be a great prop to have, without being the absolute top pick prop (the sphere, corpse cases, and hell fly would be higher on that list IMO). An ice cream cone? Eh....Herbert Wests serum vial is way cooler, even though I'd rather have Phantasm props.

You could go all day listing memorable but not pick of the litter props from horror films...

The bug smashing bedpan from Bubba Ho-tep
Julia's bandages from Hellraiser II
The death trapping camera from The Asphyx
The birthday cake from Creepshow
Bub's razor from Day of the Dead
A broken milk bottle from It's Alive
The wooden block from Misery
The gas pump keys from Night of the Living Dead
A carton of The Stuff

...we could go on and on and on...

How about the pencil from The Evil Dead?

This all reminds me, on Dirty Jobs Mike Rowe does a zombie make up segment and in the shop you can see the cat eaten corpse from The Two Evil Eyes. Mike even does one of the commercial promos with it. That'd be pretty damn cool to have, if you could inbed it back into a wall with the cat puppets too.

If that real Fish Ghoulie puppet were to re-appear on Ebay, that bitch would be mine. It's too bad when it auctioned I had no credit card (or money).

I had to go with the sandwich from Troll 2, although I'm having second thoughts about it now, I mean "THINK ABOUT THE CHOLESTEROL!". Sorry, I couldn't resist.:D

Also, is that somesort of pigbearman on the first page? :D

Good call !
The art deco organ from THE ABOMINABLE DR. PHIBES would be a cool one.

Anything from the Dr. Phibes movies would be a great score, but I can't think of a better choice than what you mentioned!

Too many props to list, here's a few others I would love to own:

- Vincent Price's hat & shades combo from Tomb of Ligeia
- R.G. Armstrong's mask from Race With the Devil
- Uncle Willie's skeleton display in Gargoyles
- Dean Stockwell's rings from The Dunwich Horror
- Fats the dummy from Magic
- A flying guillotine from any of the 1970's Flying Guillotine films

Nancy's always-awake pills definitely.

MrKateB
04-05-2008, 09:14 AM
I thought about the stay-awake pills for a second, because it would be extremely hilarious and would be good for a "isn't that perfect" moment for any friends of mine that knew me back in my party/club days...HOWEVER (cough), it would probably be a bad idea to have those around, especially if there was anything in the bottle, and I'd either end up taking the pills and spending the next few days strung out eating sugary cereal and pondering what would probably have been a very expensive buzz (if they were real pills) or throwing the bottle away in frustration (if they weren't real pills) and then spend the next few days strung out ON sugary cereal thinking about the money I threw down the toilet on a bottle of fake pills.

I think the trowel, from Night of the Living Dead, would be a lovely piece of movie memorabilia to have.

I'd love Snake's countdown watch from Escape from New York. Not horror, but still...
