I want to like this movie.... but i dont know -- i haven't seen it... is it THAT bad as i hear? Anything good about it?

you should check the archives....a few threads have been started on this movie. In my opinion.....Its a really bad movie. Its no where near as good as the Romero or Return series. The only good thing is that Savini is in it but only for about 10 minutes.

I watched it the other day. It was ok. The first 10-15 minutes were fun, as were the last 10-15. The majority of the middle was slow and the acting mediocre but that's not unexpected for a zombie movie. In the end, not as bad as I had expected.

Please, for the love of God and all that is sacred, do not buy this DVD. Rent it if you must. Rent it on vhs if you must. But do not waste your hard-earned money on this movie.

Pros: It really looks like everyone is trying very hard to do whatever it is they were doing. "A" for effort. Some nice squibs, too.

Cons: Weak story. Tries to make a franchise out of a "super ghoul" who, guess what, was a serial killer. Too little gore. Too little for a "Living Dead" movie anyway.
