We need some more cult releases on Blu-Ray.

I don't exactly want to run out and buy such great films as I Know Who Killed Me, Lady in the Water, and The Wicker Man remake.

Ha. I was just thinking I'd pick up I Know Who Killed Me dirt cheap but never the other two.

20 Million Miles to Earth, The Fly, Night of the Werewolf, Vengeance of the Zombies, The Omega Man and Planet of the Apes '68 coming this summer is a pretty decent run I think. Plus Anchor Bay's first wave, while a little shaky, was an excellent start.

Dark Sky announced they have some Blu-ray discs in the works, I'm crossing my fingers that Spider Baby is one of them. There's nothing I want more from them than that.

I'm waiting for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974). It already looks perfect on Dark Sky's 2006 2-Disc Ultimate Edition DVD so I can't imagine how wonderful it must look in HD. Hopefully, it will hit Blu-ray this fall.

I'm also hoping that Critical Mass is planning a Blu-ray release of Black Christmas (1974).

There are so many others I'm waiting for on Blu-ray.....Mean Girls, Picnic at Hanging Rock, Ms. 45, Showgirls, Friday the 13th (specifically 1-6), Nightmare on Elm Street (1,3,and 4), Halloween (2,4), Black Christmas (2006, even though it's on HD DVD, I'd like it on Blu-ray too), etc.

July 22nd is going to be a big day for BR Horror. They're also releasing Exorcism Of Emily Rose and the first Urban Legend. Too bad they're not releasing the other Urban Legends. But I'll be picking up the 3 slashers (already own Emily Rose UK BR).

Yes Salo lovers (are there any?) will be very happy soon. The Criterion re-release comes out on 8/26 and the UK Blu Ray on 9/22. Both are loaded with special features too.

...and it's finally available on BD in the US. Actually, it's been available for the past two and a half months (07/14/09) but I just found out about it last night. I was at Hastings last night and spotted it, the only copy they had, so I purchased it. Why did Sony wait a whole year to release I Still Know on BD after the original was released on BD? There isn't any new extras, just the same stuff that was on the DVDs.
