Haaha, naw dude , I just couldn't give a rats ass about them. Never watched more than one shows worth and I decided right then that that show wasn't worth wasting my time on. It ain't no Robot Chicken! Now there's something to talk about at the water cooler.

I never like her myself, though Kim Cattrall was hot in quite a few movies: Police Academy, Big Trouble In Little China and Mannequin just to name a few.
No, my favorite out of the bunch would have to be Kristin Davis. She's definitely got that cute factor.

I had a big crush on Kristin Davis when she was on Melrose Place. The night she smashed her head on the side of the pool and drowned was the last night I watched it.
When I heard that she was on Sex and the City, I had to check it out - for all of 10 minutes before I couldn't take any more and shut it off. I've never seen it again.
And I still think that damned SJP looks like Ruth Buzzi. WTF do people see in her anyway? I never had a problem with her until she started trying to be so hot and some fools actually bought into it saying, "Yeah, she IS hot!" WHAT?!?!?!

Kim Cattrall was way hotter in Porky's, so I figure she wins.
I'd check out the odd episode of the show when I'd get home from bars when I was about 19 or 20 and found it enjoyable enough, so I sat down and watched the entire series with my girlfriend almost three years ago. As much as I find the show to be breeding a bunch of empty, vapid, superficial and materialistic morons, it's still fairly fun and some of the writing is alright.
I'm going to see the movie tomorrow with my girlfriend because it's her birthday, but she's more excited about The Strangers. I guess Sex is more of a birthday thing, and I don't really mind. We'll go check out The Strangers later on in the week.

For me, Kim Cattrall is the hottest of the four by default. I've always thought Sarah Jessica Parker was the very defintion of a "butterface." Kristin Davis is OK, but she has such a high forehead it deserves its own zip code. And the redhead? Normally I like redheads but she looks like an alien.

I have no plans of seeing the Strangers so when I do see Sex in the City (which should be sometime in the next two weeks) I will qualify.

Thankfully my girl never was into this show, so I'm safe as can be (TV interference aside)! She calls SJP "horseface" and I concur. She looks good around 3% of the time, the rest is feedbag city.
I do think Kristin is cute, but not cute enough to make me watch this shit (I've seen 3 or 4 episodes in my life. The first was actually funny and the second I swear I saw Kristin's boob, but that couldn't save the next couple episodes. I may've been dreaming about the boob shot as I can't find it now, and things like that are on the internet.)
Also agree on the redhead. I'm all about them, but not this one.
Kim wins, but we all still lose.

You guys do know that Kristin Davis started her career in the 1987 masterpiece of horror cheese, Doom Asylum (http://www.oh-the-horror.com/page.php?id=229), don't you?

I can't believe Indy was unseated after just one week! I always thought Sex & The City was like a "cult" show since it was on HBO but I guess this movie has been so overhyped! And of course being a "chick flick alternative" to all the action and superhero type stuff...so maybe that explains it.

Sex and the City is far, far, FAR from a cult show. The following it had with the original HBO airings has grown exponentially since it's come out on DVD and through syndication as well.
Pretty much everything with a vagina was excited about this flick coming out, so the numbers definitely make sense to me.

My wife loves this show and has the entire series on dvd. I've never been able to watch more than two minutes of any episode. We'll be going to see this in the theater probably next weekend. It will definitely be a struggle for me to stay awake in my seat, but I won't complain. My wife willingly went with me to see Rambo 4 in the theater earlier this year. :)

I first called Sarah Jessica Parker horseface after watching Ed Wood. Personally I think you're being polite with the 3% looking good allocation.

I took my wife to see Saturday night. That entire theater was full of chicks and their girlfriends. You could practically hear their mentral cycles syncing up.
Not a bad movie. The wife loved it and she has sat through a ton of films she had no interest in for me. The whole time though I could not help but think about this site and laugh.. http://sarahjessicaparkerlookslikeahorse.com/

I cannot imagine what would possess a person of either gender to go to a theatre and drop $10 (plus concessions) to see this on the big screen. And this is coming from a fan of the show. Why not wait til it comes out on DVD?!!?

1. It is the Sex and the City women and waiting until the day after the release day to see it seemed like eternity. Wait for the dvd? Hell no.
2. Out of any movie that I have seen in the theater, this one was the most fun with a crowd. A grand time was had by all.
3. It was really hot that day, and Regal's air conditioning rocks
4. To have good times with friends before, after, and during the movie
5. Call me old fashioned, but I like going to the movies
6. My home theater is good, but not that good.
7. To show my box office support, just in case they want to make another one they will have the box office strength to get it done
8. Because Workshed purchased all the tickets to Made of Honor
9. Because apparently I like horse faced big forehead having alien looking sluts baby
10. Because I am trying to catch every showing I can of the trailer for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2
11. I thought there might be a Unicorn in it for me, but Noto went all com-promise cut throat on me and beat me out
12. If I told you, I would have to kill you
13. It's Sex and the City. Wait? Screw that noise.

The funniest part of that picture is not the peppy way McDreamy is holding his hands but how absolutely and utterly mortified the kid on the right with the hat looks.
And the Chaostar reminded me:
14. It was long, like a season of the show all rolled up into one, so I got my moneys worth.

I was dreading the probability of having to go; (gf) is a big fan!
Length of time; this was my escape plan . . . I actually had held off on going and was looking for a good excuse, and holding off worked. The run time of 145 mins was enough to escape seeing it at the theaters and I threw in buying/or renting as a bonus!!!

IMDB:
Horseface gets an award!?! :eek2:
Sarah Jessica Parker has been hailed this year's unexpected crush by a U.S. men's magazine bidding to make up with the actress after calling her the unsexiest woman alive.
The 43-year-old Sex and the City star was outraged last year when men's publication Maxim bestowed her with the unsexy honour, insisting the insult was "brutal".
And Parker's outspoken opposition to the title seems to have worked.
The actress will receive her award in the August issue of the magazine.

I kind of like Sex & the City. It's not an epic television show, not on any level other than the budget they had for costume design(s) / wardrobe and all that. But it was very entertaining and consistently smart. I can think of much worse time-wasters. Like a bunch of shitty shows marketed more to crude men and such. :eek1:
