Every time I see that Vestron logo I immediately think of 'The Monster Squad'.
Vestron was probably on of the best 80's video labels. They put out a HUGE amount of great stuff, especially horror and even some great 80's sex comedies.

I own House On Sorrority Row, The Evictors, Vendetta, Sole Survivor, the Joan Jett movie Light of Day, and I'm sure I have a few others somewhere. I found Ghost Warrior at a Goodwill store a few months ago. I only bought it because it has Janet "Humongous" Julian in it. I haven't watched it yet.

Pieces. The dvd I have from Diamond Entertainment is just as bad as that old Vestron tape. So glad that the Grindhouse special edition is coming this October!
Waxwork and From Beyond would be my next choices. I rented both of those many times in the vhs format, especially Waxwork.

Hey! I was going to save Vestron for last
just kidding ;)
Voted for Re-Animator. I remember nearly having a heart attack when we checked out a new video rental place back in the day, and they had just stacked three brand new copies of Re-Animator for rental on the shelves. One week before the official street date I might add. I felt like the luckiest kid in the whole wide world.
Vestron has always been my favorite video label. They had many many great releases.

Don't Go in the Woods for me - no other film has left such a traumatic impact on my life.

I voted for Waxwork, because I was unable to decide between From Beyond and Re-Animator. :) Vestron rocks! ;)

Since I still have my video for Sundown: Vampire in Retreat I had to go with OTHER for that one, although Trancers, Slaughter High, Squirm, Re-Animator, and To Live and Die in LA were also well played tapes back in the day.

Other for Avery Crounse's wonderful horror/fantasy/western hybrid, Eyes of Fire. Overlooked and very creepy at times, this film desperately needs a DVD release in it's proper ratio. Original (and better) title: Cry Blue Sky.

I fucking hate The Monster Squad.
Anyway, I went with Other...Making Michael Jackson's Thriller. Always loved that video and it was one of the first documentaries on the making of a horror film that I ever saw. It's about an hour and has some really cool glimpses into Rick Baker's effects and watching Landis work with a younger (blacker) MJ.

Look at that cover for Vendetta - no way I'm voting against that.

Too many to choose! I'm going with Waxwork. The unrated video went to VHS heaven years back. :( The Dragon DVD is the best way to go until a better R1 release pops up. Wasn't Night of the Zombies aka: Hell of the Living Dead a Vestron release? I remember there were previews after the end credits. One was for the Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane.
