Last year we kicked off our inaugural "October Madness" month on the site, where we promised a review a day, tons of contests, polls, top ten lists and overall posting frenzy here at the site. Well, October is less than a week away, and you can guarantee we'll be at it here again. We've got tons of reviews, contests, polls, lists and even a few brand new extras planned this time around. We might even throw a new URL into the mix. Who knows, so keep checking here and get ready for another great month of horror. Long time lurkers, sign on up and get posting - let's cram the boards full of horror talk and make this a month for the ages! The clock is ticking...it's almost time!

I'm fucking pumped for October!! Without question my favorite month, and this makes it all the more worthwhile. I have lots of DVDs and blu-ray on order and unwatched, so I'm looking forward to being active on the boards.

And I LOVE TOP TENS!

There are a few cool discs on their way, right? The Beyond and Pieces both drop in late October! There's gotta be more. Maybe we should start a definitive list.

Outside of all the Code Red/BCI releases that have happened in the past weeks and upcoming, there's also Mausoleum and Bloody Moon !

You got that right! Honestly, I look forward to the reviewer's top tens every year. It's always good stuff!

Last year set the bar pretty high, Rhett. Let's see if you guys can top it!

This brings up a good point. Do kids Trick or Treat in Australia? Is there a clash with the sorta fall-like theme of Halloween over there? I mean its like the middle of spring there right? Do pumpkins even grow in Australia?

It doesn't seem to be as big a thing here. You get the occasional kids knocking at your door but it's pretty tame. And yes, it is Spring over here, and our pumpkins are a little on the green side.
Still, I like to keep myself in a horror mood during October.

Maybe. I think we might throw a Halloween party or something.:D
