It's amazing how I can missed this slasher inda campus. But now, I at last make up a deficiency:) So we have a pretty story about misterious killer who stalks a beutifull college girls by AXE. Sadly we almost have no gore, but Rush Week anyway is a fun movie.

Never even heard of this. Didn't realize Simitar had any DVD releases either.

How's the DVD transfer? Better than a VHS dub?

It has a slight touch of looking through waxpaper effect. Still better than a VHS dub though.

I love me some slashers but for my taste Rush Week took too long to get in gear. One hour of half baked cliches followed by a good finale that still didn't fill the gaps. Not the worst, not the best either. I'd say it's worth a rental unless you can find the disc for very very cheap.

I have a ton of old Simitar DVD releases, and this is one. They went out of business years back however. The video quality is decent for a disc that was released back in 1999. The audio is uncompressed PCM stereo. As far as I know it's never been reissued by another company.

I've always enjoyed the film. It's not the best, but still an enjoyable slasher with a strong 80's vibe. Gregg Allman's character is a hoot, and there's some other bit roles with Dominick Brascia and Kathleen Kinmont.

This was re-released as a dual feature with some movie that I forget but it was also on Simitar. Usually it sells for kinda high considering it's Simitar disc.

Love Rush Week. Picked the used DVd up for 1.99 in Columbus. Any film with The Dickies is going to be good stuff.

Yeah, it was Fraternity Demon like MP stated above. They did that with many of their DVD releases, and the discs were the same as the single-releases...in seperate cases but packaged in a flimsy cardboard slipcase.

I have always liked this one. I had never heard of it until I found the old RCA Columbia VHS in the early to mid 90s...then picked up the DVD during my time at Suncoast.

Damn. Beat me to it. Yeah, you do get a live performance (lip synched, but still) from Leonard, Stan, and the boys. And probably my favorite Dickies lineup.

Haven't watched the movie yet, I just skip ahead to the Dickies.
