Did anyone here go to the Rock N' Shock Horror Convention this past weekend in MA?

I had a Great time at the Horror Convention!! It was so much fun!!

There were so many Great Guests from Doug Bradley to the Beautiful Ashley Laurence!! Wow, She looked Amazing!! She is such a Sweetheart and she was Super Nice and Great to talk with! I got pictures with both of them!! I have always loved Ashley and she is one of my all time favorite Scream Queens and I told her that!! It was a thrill to meet her!!

I enjoyed meeting Tony Todd and I got my picture with him, he was very cool and he took some time to talk with me and my friend as well. I got a picture with him and I got to tell him that he was Great in the Night Of The Living Dead Remake.

Tom Savini was Great as always. He was Terrific during his Q & A as well! This was my second time watching him do a Q & A, and I told him how Great they were before we went and he did not dissapoint. The Lovely Ladies of Halloween looked Great!! I loved meeting Danielle Harris again, I had met her once at the Screamfest Convention in Florida and she is so Sweet. She screened her New Movie Prank for us and it was very cool! She was excited about it and I really had a fun time watching it!

I was surprised to see J.C. Brandy there as well, she played Jamie in Halloween 6 and I was excited to meet her! I told them how Great it was to have both Jamie's from the Halloween Films sitting together!! I even got to tell her how much I loved her in the Silk Stalkings Episodes and she thought that was Great! I also got to meet Hannah Hall who played Michael Myers Sister in Rob Zombie's Halloween!! Wow, what a Cutie!!

William Forsythe was Very Cool and I had a blast chatting with Zach Galligan from Gremlins and W axwork!! I had so much fun talking with him about Horror Movies and his working with Anthony Hickox who I love as a Director that I couldn't leave his table without getting a signed picture of him and Gizmo as well!! He is a Great Guy!!

I missed out on meeting Chris Sarandon, Corey Haim, and George P. Wilbur. Me and my friend bumped into Ken Foree in the hall on the way upstairs to watch Prank and he was cool as well!!

I enjoyed the Dealers room as well, and I got some cool Magazines and some DVDS as well. I wish I had brought more money!! That's the way it always is!! I did pick up a Great DVD Set of Monsters!! I had always wanted to have all the Episodes on DVD and I couldn't pass it up!!

It was a Blast!! I can't wait to go again next year!!

This was the first one of these I had to skip. I am headed to Chiller next week and need to save all my money for Catriona Macoll, Stacey Nelkin, and Barbara Steele! Even though its close by, I had pretty much met all of the guests already. I was bummed to see that I was gonna miss JC Brandy though! I was tempted to drive out on Sunday to see her, but again decided to save the cash. One of the guys I work with went and had alot of fun. He even get to see Corey Haim get served papers!

This was the first year I had to skip as well, more out of protest than anything. I'm tired of them consistently catering to the horror metal crowd and leaving all the other fans in the lurch. Modern horror is fine and all, but what's the prob with locating more classic horror stars? Get them while they're still kickin' is what I say. And word to the wise: There are plenty of other horror-esque acts they could find besides falling back on Gwar or Insane Clown Posse every year. Most of the guests had been there previously and there weren't enough events as usual. Plus they got that douchebag Jay who as far as I know has been in a single horror movie and is only known for his Kevin Smith roles. Sheer friggin' laziness is what Rock and Shock has become. Thankfully, Monster-Mania is coming to Hartford CT in June.

Where is Chiller? It sounds Great!! What's this about Corey Haim getting served? What was it a divorce or something? That's kinda funny, lol.

I agree, I had really hoped for a few more old school guests. But sadly they just seem to sit and collect dust unless they were in a Rob Zombie movie that all the kids have seen. That Monster-Mania is gonna be great! I cannot wait to meet Saxon! I got to meet Englund at the last one in Jersey, and he was terrific...he had a huge line, but still took time to talk to everyone and have fun with them...and kept the line moving at the same time. A total pro and a total gentleman. Worth the wait and the money. I may stand in line and meet him again, as I have a Elm Street 4 poster signed by most of the cast but him, last time I only had him sign my elm streets 1 and 3 posters and galaxy of terror.

Chiller was in Parsipanny, NJ...not sure what Haim got served for exactly...he was at Chiller as well and seemed to avoid any legal issues of any kind (or least public displays of them).

Man, these kind of threads always make me depressed :( we never get any fun horror conventions over here because there just isn't an audience for it.

However, you do have the greatest beer in the entire world, so it's a toss up. :)

That's true, maybe I should start drinking some of that beer every time I get depressed by stuff like this
