I was hoping to have some outside feeback on the series. Darn.

Yeah kind of weird to not see Corey Feldman, Crispin Glover or Kevin Bacon. probably the three biggest stars from the franchise. Not a huge deal though as I remember Feldman talking quite a bit on the original boxset extras, Bacon as well I think.

My bad I thought he was, haven't watched it in a while though. Was Glover? I know Feldman was.

I dunno about Feldman and Glover, but Bacon was really the only actor in the entire series to have truly made something of himself. He probably doesn't care. (I mean, he DID do an interview for Footloose). He probably doesn't care about a Friday the 13th interview. He was a relatively minor character, and he probably doesn't have much to say.

You know something about all that... It is about all that, if you think about it... When I first started watching DVD features, one of the first things I watched was the Heathers documentary on the THX DVD. And Winona Ryder, Shannen Doherty, and Christian Slater were there. Now, those are huge names. 2 of them big-time movie stars! On a Blue Underground documentary. I thought nothing of it at the time. But now, it seems amazing that they were able to contact these people and to get them for the documentary. In the credits, it mentions that Winona Ryder was interviewed by someone... I don't know who it was, but I get the feeling they don't exactly work for Blue Underground. I don't know that. But, this shows that there really is a kind of boundary between big stars and small DVD companies.

At least, I honestly believe that. Now.

Dark Delicacies down in Burbank (www.darkdel.com) announced that they are having a signing for this title on street date. They haven't announced the list of attendees yet but judging by some of their other signings, this could be a great place to meet a bunch of F13 cast and crew to get the DVD signed.

I don't think he (Bacon) has anything bad to say about it though either...he doesn't shun F13th like it is below him...

Wasn't he in Peter Bracke's book? I can't remember because I have it in storage and haven't read it in a few years, but I thought he was in it...

And you're speaking of the re-release cause it was originally Anchor Bay of course.

I kind of wish they'd have gotten Jeannine Taylor on it...Although I always had more of a fondness for Adrienne King from the original film (or first two films, in her case), I loved the Marcy character and thought she could have gone at least a bit further as an actress than she ended up...I think I remember she ended up doing well on stage, but still..

Big list! Too bad only 1% of these names mean something to me. Will pass...
