I don't own any, nor have I seen any Troma films. From what I have heard and seen from the trailers, they all look pretty awful. That being said, I plan on picking up and at least giving a chance to The Toxie films, Nuke 'Em High, Mother's Day, and Poultrygeist (As my friend played one of the zombies in the film). Oh, and maybe Tromeo and Juliet as well.

All but the last 4 were purchased back in '98 or '99 when Troma had their entire DVD catalog on sale for 25 cents a piece, I think because it was their first wave of DVD releases or something. I bought them all because they were cheap (I thought there were 25 titles, among them Cannibal! The Musical but I don't see it anywhere so I guess there were only 21...). I wouldn't own 1/4th of those movies if they hadn't been dirt cheap at the time I bought them. lol

I did own Class of Nuke 'Em High but it kept getting about 25 minutes into the movie and then skipping ahead about 20 minutes. Every copy I got kept doing this so I gave up and returned it for good. I also owned A Nymphoid Barbarian in Dinosaur Hell but that was God awful so I sold it. I remember back in 1999, Troma had this killer sale on their website where you bought one DVD and then got unlimited DVDs for $.99 each. I really wish I had taken advantage of that but I was in college and working one day a week. Back in the VHS days, I owned pretty much every Troma movie I could find on VHS and most of the third party pick-ups sucked but I loved everything that Troma themselves produced (and still do).

I don't own any... As much as I want to like them, I never do. Every movie I read about sounds exactly like something I would love, and then I see it and don't enjoy it.

The only two exceptions so far are that I did enjoy Deathrow Gameshow briefly in the early '90s, and liked parts of Poultrygeist, but I think somehow I am generally missing something with their movies...

I've owned a lot more Troma stuff, but have sold some of the DVDs and VHS off over the years. I love their in-house stuff, but indeed some of the pick-ups are quite shitty, so away those ones go. I'm a huge Troma fan and own a ton of other Troma memorabilia such as theatrical posters, Tromeo and Juliet air fresheners, a 35mm trailer for Cry Uncle!, and much more. I even had the privilege of screening 35mm prints of The Toxic Avenger and Poultrygeist in my city back in November. Lloyd's a great guy too, had the pleasure of meeting him in person and talking with him for quite a while.
