Warner Home Video has announced ten titles from its catalog for Blu-ray release on September 8: 'Catwoman', 'Creepshow', 'Dead Calm', 'Freddy vs. Jason', 'The New World: Extended Cut', 'Over the Top', 'The Postman', 'Snakes on a Plane', 'Sphere' and 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' (2003).

Count me in for Creepshow, Freddy vs Jason, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003). Great news!

I hope MGM/20th Century Fox considers The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Part 2 (1986) for a Blu-ray release.

The New World and Sphere are must-haves as long as the transfers are worth the upgrade, unlike their A History of Violence Blu. I'll probably grab Dead Calm as well. No interest in the others.

Creepshow and Sphere? Awesome!

I wonder if Warner will actually add any bonus features to Creepshow however. They certainly don't treat many of their Blu-rays with much love as far as bonus content goes. Hell, on many of them they haven't even added the trailer that was on the old DVD release!

Here's some links with coverart/details, and perhaps they are improving:

Dead Calm and Creepshow? Sweet!!!

Those are the 2 titles that piqued my interest as well. Looking forward to them.

I'm talking mother fucking snakes! I'm all over Snakes on a Plane so long as it's under $20. I've been holding off and waiting for the blu since I saw this in theaters.

Beyond that, "meh," don't know I'd have to watch Creepshow again but it's not high on my want list.

i wish the creepshow release would have all the special features from region 2 dvd i doubt it

If Texas Chainsaw Massacre has all its extras I'll pick it up. Creepshow will be a must as well, although I doubt they will bother adding anything more then the trailer. Freddy vs. Jason if I see it for $10, and it too includes all its extras.

Definitely picking up Creepshow! Will eventually get TCM and FvJ when they hit bargain prices.

Those three will probably be the only ones I'll be picking up. Nice to see Romero getting some attention on blu for something other than his dead films, even if the disc will be barebones.

Creepshow and Dead Calm....nice!

(I'm pretty sure someone already posted this news though...yeah I know, I'm a dick lol.)

Accidently posted another thread about this, but yeah, I'm really excited about Creepshow, Freddy vs. Jason, and the new TCM.

I know everyone was just counting the days until OVER THE TOP finally made its high def debut...

i dont have a blu-ray player (yet), but I'll pick up Creepshow anyway. One of my all time favorite movies. I can always watch it at a friends house.

I'm in for CREEPSHOW. May pick up a couple others (Dead Calm, Over the Top) when they're around $10.

I'll be getting Creepshow, Freddy vs. Jason, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Loved that last one. Very good remake IMO.
