Always had a sweet tooth for this film series. However I haven't seen any decent full moon franchises in many years.

I remember loving Demonic Toys when I saw it like 15 years ago. But I thought there were a lot of sequels to Demonic toys, I guess I was wrong and got confused over the something vs someone movies. The pics look pretty good.

I'm up for it, I love the original. I just sincerely hope they had a decent budget and didn't make it just for the sake of making it.

yep just dollman vs demonic toys which was a short film and was just okay atbest
and puppet master vs demonic toys which was really bad both the demonic toys and puppets looked horrible this isn't even a full moon film either so even though it is out there and being a completist that i am owning it it doesn't exist

^ I kinda liked vs. Puppet Master, it was more fun than the worst of Full Moon. But then again I was expecting something pretty dull when I watched it on Sci-Fi that night. Once Corey Feldman showed up in the worst old man costume I'd ever seen on TV, I just kept howling and howling with laughter. But I was laughing with it, 'cause I'm sure they all knew how absurd it all was.

But yeah, hopefully this be better than... I don't know... Blood Dolls maybe? That was decent enough, so if they exceed that I'll be happy.

That looks mighty awful. Part of the fun was how ordinarily the toys could look. Now they're all "hardcore," "twisted," and "totally sick." I liked when Full Moon had some class. Cheap class, but class none the less.

I'd already pre-ordered it from Amazon for $13.99, so I'll just wait for that. Even with my Full Moon membership discount, it was cheaper and I should get it on the 28th with free Prime shipping.

went ahead and ordered from them and sent them a money order my computer froze and i had accidently placed a 2nd order oh well i told them to cancel the 2nd order number there should be no problem

most of the things i was reading about them taking along time to ship was around certain holidays

I'm somewhat interested in this. Haven't seen the first film but I'll probably buy it soon seeing as it's just getting a release here in Australia.
Not so sure about the CGI in this new one though. I don't think I can say it looks good. Maybe if it was a computer game.

I agree. PvDT was bad, especially on the Demonic Toys side of things. Dollman vs Demonic Toys wasn't that good either. I'm hoping the original is better than that when I watch it.

Full Moon jumped the shark with all the toy-centered movies. Puppet Master must have made a ton of money for them because once that came out every movied seemed to be either a Puppet Master movie or toy themed.

Charlie Band is making them in his basement using his unsold PUPPET MASTER toys.

It's all a matter of cost. But their latest features have a higher budget than what they had 2-3 years ago. Skull Heads and Demonic Toys were shot in Italy, and they traveled to China to shoot the latest Puppet Master.

Full Moon have quite loyal fans, and I think they make some money on DVDs and merchandise. And apparently the merchandise if far-out and mega-awesome.

just watched the first Demonic Toys movie last night, for the first time. Wow, was that bad. i guess i was spoiled by the early Puppet Master movies, but I was expecting something a little better than this. at least it wasn't agressively bad like Curse of the Puppet Master or anything, but still...this was pretty bottom of the barrel. What's the verdict on the second one? compared to the first. i'll see it either way, but i'd like to know what to expect going in...

But let's just say, if you think the first film is bad, the second one makes it look like a masterpiece.

I rather liked the second one, they're pretty different though and hard to compare. It certainly wasn't Curse of Puppet Master bad, and was better than Axis of Evil too.
