Last September we told you Billy Zane was starring in a sequel to the Greek horror film To Kako (Evil). Originally entitled Evil 2: Time of Heroes, the film is now being called Evil in the Time of Heroes. Have a look at this teaser trailer.

This looks pretty awesome, and it's awesome to see Zane in something that actually seems halfway decent. I always thought he pulled off the smug, cocky guy thing better than most other actors from his generation.

A lot of people here will probably disagree with me over this, but I enjoyed him in THE MAD. A very fun movie that doesn't get enough credit. I'd gladly see him in another zombie film. :)

I loved the first Evil. So much fun. They worked really well with their low budget. Can't wait for this one. And this time they shot on a Red cam? Even better.

I agree. Billy Zane is awesome. I don't think I've ever watched a performance by him that I haven't liked. My favorite is his bad ass role in Demon Knight.

Same here. I'd love to see this zombie flick too.

That's the thing that always bothered me. Titanic was a HUGE hit and the only two actors who had more screen time were Dicaprio and Winslet, yet after that film he kinda just faded away from bigger roles. Maybe it was a personal choice, who knows.

Back to the topic of the thread, is the first film of this series available in the States?

Demon Knight is actually one of my favorite horror fliks from the 90's. Both Zane and Saddler gave amazing performances, and the overall atmosphere was really well-done. Too bad Bordello of Blood kind of killed the idea of anymore high profile Tales from the Crypt movies

I know I am in the minority here but I really liked him in The Phantom. It was good campy fun, and felt like an old adventure serial, like Indiana Jones was a hoamge to. I liked the time period they chose (Would kill to see a Batman movie done in that time), his costume, set design, action scenes, ect.

Agreed on all points. Bordello of Blood also killed my interest in TftC movies at the time. Now, I'm ready for a relaunch.

FINALLY, a "relaunch" I would be excited to hear about!

Anyway, this sounds quite promising. I hope it's good and does well for Mr. Zane's sake. I've always liked him a lot. Maybe this will bring about a DVD release of BLOOD & CONCRETE: A LOVE STORY!!!!!!

Now he joins James Spader in relative obscurity.

He does the "pompous" thing too well, its causing him to be typecast as the pompous rich slightly gay guy.
