Just wondering if anyone has any heads up on who is going to have the best prices on the Friday 2, 3 and remake Blu-rays?

According to the web...

It looks like 2 and 3 will be 19.99 at Walmart, with the remake being 24.99.

Best Buy is 24.99 each

Anyone know of any brick and mortar stores that will have special pricing?

$19.99 will probably be your cheapest. If you wait a few weeks, you can probably find it on amazon.com's marketplace for much cheaper. I got a new copy of the first F13 on blu for $9 from a third party seller.

Right now I think the lowest prices are $20 on 2 & 3, and $25 on the remake.

I'll bite when I find them for $15.

I don't think I'll be able to resist part three in 3D for $20, but I'll hold off on the other two.

i'll be getting them all on Blu. Hagleing for a buck or 2 here and there just isn't worth it to me. I'll be getting them all at the best buy since it's closest to me.

I've got them all on preorder for these same prices at Amazon. Haven't seen any lower prices at the b&m stores.

They'll probably be selling it for $26.99 too, but if you let them know what the online price was they have to match it. I preordered mine from their online site anyway with rewardzone coupons so I paid a total of about $1 for it. Get to pick it up Tuesday. The rest I just ordered from Amazon.

i'll probably just end up getting it at walmart along with 4,5,6 deluxe edition dvds and probably part 3D since the 3D is better and it has bonus features no need to get part 2 on Blu since nothing new is added from the deluxe edition dvd

Except much better picture and sound quality. I'd value that over extras any day.

The Blu-Ray Pic Quality of Part II was so much better than I was expecting.

Was at Wal-mart earlier and their in-store price for the remake blu ray is $29.96 (forgot the exact price, but that should be pretty close). Looks like it's one of those cases where the website is cheaper than the store. I don't know if your local stores will price match the website. I know the store I go to said they don't as I've tried in the past.

Mine should be arriving from Amazon today. $19.99, no tax, and free shipping. Online is the way to go.

My local Wal-Mart didn't even have a space for the Blu-ray sequels, nor did my local Target. Best Buy had one copy of Friday the 13th Part III for $24.99 but no copies of Friday the 13th Part 2. If they had them, I would have made them price match Amazon. As it is, I just ordered them from Amazon and called it a day.

Had to go with Amazon, both Best Buys near me didn't have either copy of Friday 2 or 3.

I picked up part 3 from Best Buy for 24.99, and it hurt. I only saw the remake at Wal-Mart.

I cant decide if I should pick these up on blu-ray now or if a blu ray box set will inevitably be released in a year- hmmmm- what to do.....

Get the Blu's now dood. I'm not waiting on a box set that I'm not even sure will ever exist. Even if it is coming - how can you wait!

I picked up the 5 vintage Friday releases at 12:00 AM this morning at Bull Moose. I almost didn't do the midnight run, figuring Wal-Mart would have them all on the way to work, glad I chose the late night trip!! At Bull Moose the 2 blus were $19.97 and the 3 dvds were $12.97. One copy each of these is all they received, rediculous.
Piles of the 2009 remake though. Bah, I'll rent this first.

I rented the remake first, 'nough said.

Screw it, I went ahead and ordered Part 2 and 3-D on Blu-ray from Barnes & Noble. They currently have a Buy 3 and get 1 free promotion, so I basically got the new Spaceballs Blu-ray free then. Plus, I had a $5 off coupon on top of my membership discount, so the deal was sweeter. Already shipped with free UPS 3-day so it should be here on Thursday/Friday.

I also ordered The Final Chapter DVD from Amazon...as I just couldn't wait for the Blu of that. It'll be here on Thursday with Amazon Prime.

Friday the 13th 2 19.99
Friday the 13th 3 19.99
2009 Friday 24.99

FYI off topic they have King Kong blu for 14.99 right now which is the lowest I have seen it.

Lol, that's cool. Yup, it's still right there. Smells the same, looks the same, even the same exact cashiers and irritating music played at 3/4 volume (to avoid loiterers?). I hope it never goes away.
