Night Of The Demons Cover

Hi guys.

I?m writing this because something sad happened to one of the titles in my dvd collection. My 6 year old son was playing in the living room and when I noticed it my cover of "Night Of The Demons" from Anchor Bay was torn in two:eek1:. I looked through the web for a print replacement but I didn?t find any quality on my finds.

Can anyone make a high resolution scan on one of their ones?
Or some cool custom one?

I don't think it was a stupid remark; it's true... All Kim Brune was saying was that you should keep your stuff away from your child until he matures. Kids get into mischief, it's in their nature. Kid's and prized possessions DON'T mix. I think you kind of took it personally. Kim didn't say your child wasn't precious as well...

Are you for real? :freak: Listen, I don't have kids, but I work with them, I love them - but I've seen the damage they can do. Children, by their very nature, tend to be destructive - especially the younger ones. What I was trying to say is that you've learned a lesson here. Don't give a small child access to something you'd be sorry to see broken/ripped apart/drooled on.

And for the record, if it happened to me, I'd probably re-invest if it was a favorite. But then, I'm a collector. :p

Anyone have the cover art to The Midnight Hour. Similar circumstances with my cover...only I blame pint glass of Guinness. I checked the initial link and it did not appear to have the art.

Yeah it's a free site so they're not all the best quality. there are sites out there that you pay for that should be better but it's not really worth a membership for one cover. Make sure you buy glossy paper though it makes a big difference.

I don't have kids, but i have had a dog eat a few Laserdiscs (ones i carried home from Japan) argghhh.

Also lost some DVD's due to stacking them horizontally too high and they came tumbling down breaking the cases and discs.

then there's the old drinking and watching DVD's, where i've lost a few covers to spilled beer and once even accidentally dumped a few discs into a cooler of ice water. hahah.

r1db.com has a nice scan. If you have a scanner I'd suggest signing up there, then scanning some titles you have that aren't already up there. Just be sure to read the rules and get the scans up to their levels of quality.
After just 3 people grab a scan from you, you'll have a credit you can use for the Demons replacment, and they will grab almost anything new. Even Shark Attack 3: Megalodon that got downloaded 7 times in the first couple days after I submitted it. I somehow doubt 7 people needed a replacment for that, I'd be shocked if 7 others had the disc or even a dub of it.
Or paypla them 80 cents for a credit. I can't vouch for buying credits though.

I'd help ya but my credits are low and I only have a dub of this title, so I can't scan myself. I ended up using the cdcovers.cc one on my custom cover, but mine is in a cd case so the lower resolution didn't bother me.

I have a custom cover for THE MIDNIGHT HOUR, the original cover's spine didn't line up and it basically looks the same, just everything is re-arranged.

I also have a cover for NIGHT OF THE DEMONS I made AND a clean cover scan.

Just PM me and I'll send em to whoever wants them.

Heh, you think you can skip over a thread about printing off a DVD cover, but no thread is above descending into Horror Digital madness! Ethel went a little high school on the retort, but Mr. Kim was totally being affable.

I think it would be cool if we could have a thread where if anyone ever needed a scan of an obscure horror cover, some member of the forum could oblige. I only have a test disc for Night of the Demons, otherwise I'd have certainly offered up a cover.
