Good idea for a continuing series of threads...I can't vote on any of the picks thus far, though!

4.

It looks pretty good. It's grainy of course, but it looks fine for a film nearly 30 years old. I compared it to the transfer of the older Universal DVD, and it's leaps and bounds superior over that poor transfer. It's not reference quality, but I was quite pleased with the PQ.

Gave it a 4.5. It ain't Blade Runner, but this is about as good as this movie is ever going to look and loads better than the previous DVD, VHS, etc. transfers. Colors are vibrant and the detail is nice, despite a lot of scenes having a soft focus to them, an aesthetic choice. The grain is in the film, deal with it. A higher resolution will only make this more apparent.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I don't know why anyone could complain, it looks like you're watching the film on 35. It's some great restoration. 4.5.

Same here. Waiting for some better deals on some of these.

Gave it a 5. Looks a lot better than the last time I caught it on the big screen. I mean, A LOT.

I gave it a 4 the detail and colour is much impoved and the films probably looks as good as in 1981. But i'am sure if universal did an 8k Master ala Wizard of Oz and Baraka it could look outstanding.
