I want to buy a new tv for one my other rooms but I have small space to put in the shelf and I measure so is need to be 22 inches widescreen not bigger. So I go look for this 22 inches widescreen tv and I want 1080p. I talk to guy in the store and he say is not made small tvs in 1080p only for maximum 720p but I say is not true because I buy a 22 inches lcd tv before 5 years before and is goes to 1080i. He say is impossible and I am mistake this but is not true. I have Sharp Aquos and is goes to 1080i. What I am look for is 22 inches tv with hdmi that go to 1080p. Is this for sale or is this a crazy way because maybe they make before and now is only 720p?
Any one nows about this and what is the resolotions from the sizes to small tvs?

I have a smaller HDTV and it does 1080i, so you are correct that smaller HDTV's do 1080i. But I don't think you'll find a 22" HDTV that does 1080p. My TV is 32" and even at that screen size it is difficult to find one that will do 1080p. Hope this helps.

A 22" that's full 1080p? Most would just be 720p.

I really doubt there are many 1080p TV's out there in that size, except for HD computer monitors. I'm not saying there's none, but they're probably hard to find.

I have never seen a 1080p 22" television, save for computer monitors. I'm pretty certain that it's nearly impossible for the human eye to distinguish the difference between 720p and 1080p on something that small.

Keep in mind this formula: At a distance of MORE than 10 feet, with a screen size SMALLER than 50", the human eye can not distinguish the difference between 1080p and 720p.

Buy the 720p 22"

Well then it's good that I only sit about four feet away from my 46" Samsung 650.
