I'm going to make this thread about movies that are just "Must Buy" Blu-rays.

So let's pick some more Blu-ray Horror and the one that gets the first 4 votes will be placed next in the list. Or the Blu-Ray with the most votes by the end of 4 days, based on which comes first.

So if you haven't picked up Halloween (78), I really suggest you look into adding it into your Blu-ray collection. If you've bought it, I'd love to read your comments on the disc. Image, sound. I disagree on Halloween. It's my favorite film and I love the extra detail you can see on the Blu-Ray disc. But the color timing is off. And not by a little. It totally changes the feeling of the night-time (and some day-time) scenes. And I don't buy the arguments that the colors look "better." Better is subjective. Dean Cundey's intentions are not. He approved the special edition (not Divimax) DVD transfer.

This is one case where Anchor Bay's shameless tendency to keep re-releasing the same titles inspires hope instead of irritation in me. Please give me Halloween as the creators intended it!

I think there might be some disagreement here because of the subtitles issue, but if Halloween and it's off coloring can get in then Let the Right One In gets my vote as well.

Well supposedly they have corrected that issue with the new ones but I havent been able to find one yet for blu-ray.

Yeah, I'm uncertain if they only fixed the subtitles on the DVDs or both the DVDs and the Blu.... I haven't been able to find if they've re-released a corrected version on Blu...
