Top 10 Horror Movies From Each Decade - 50's

I know lists are done to death, but since this is a bit of a slow period for the horror community I thought why not. And surprisingly I couldn't find anything like this in the search thread so I thought it would be fun. I'm sure some lists will include a lot of the same choices, but I'm also sure that some will include some movies that will encourage others to check them out. Also, I'm curious to see what movies will make the most lists.


As embarrassed I am of my lack of 60s horror film knowledge, I am truly ashamed when it come to the 50s. Thus, I can't do a top 10 as I haven't seen enough to make a justifiable list. But it seems like a lot have enjoyed the other threads so I figured I'd throw this up and see what films I need to check out. So, what are you 10 favourite horror movies from the 50s?

Also, should I bother doing lists for the 40s, 30s, and 20s since there weren't a whole lot for those decades? If there is a demand for them I'll be happy to do them. Should I maybe combine them? Give me some suggestions!

its definitely a little harder, but still fun. i would think a list for the 30's and 40's would be easier than the 50's.
