Probably:
3/02 - CLASH OF THE TITANS (1981)
9/07 - FORBIDDEN PLANET
9/07 - MARS ATTACKS!
Maybe:
10/05 - THE MALTESE FALCON
10/05 - THE TREASURE OF SIERRA MADRE
Finally, confirmation on Forbidden Planet! I just watched Robby the Robot last night on Lost in Space too.
I still don't own Mars Attacks so this will be a great time to finally get it. And THX will look awesome on blu I suspect.

Definitely gonna grab GoodFellas, The Goonies (FINALLY they fucking announced it!), Forbidden Planet, The Maltese Falcon and Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Might pick up The Neverending Story as well.
But where is A Star is Born? Thought that was supposed to come out in 2010 as well.
But what I REALLY REALLY REALLYYYY want to know is what the fuck is happening with the blu-ray of Taxi Driver that Sony delayed last year? It was supposed to come out a year ago, then they delayed it. It's a year later and STILL no word on wtf is happening with that goddamn movie.

I've already had these titles on pre-order at Amazon for a while now:
Clash of the Titans
The NeverEnding Story
A Nightmare on Elm Street
I'll also definitely be buying:
European Vaction ...but where the hell is the original Vacation?!?
Goodfellas
The Goonies
HellRazor

Goodfellas for sure.
Lord of the Rings (Animated) - Probably.
Lord of the Rings trilogy (Theatrical versions) - definately not unless the price is REAL sweet for all 3. They already double dicked me on the DVD versions, I don't need to do it again for the Blus. I'll hold out for the extended cuts.

I already pre-ordered NoES.
Not worried about a box set as I have the great DVD box set and don't care about any of the other entries (except for, possibly, Dream Warriors and New Nightmare) enough to rebuy.
I'll be purchasing the LotR trilogy- but not without animosity. I really would prefer to just purchase the extended version on Blu instead of double-dipping, but it looks now as though it is going to be another two years till we see the extended versions on Blu and I'm not willing to wait that long.

I'll hold out for the extended cuts.

I've already got them all (both the theatrical and the extended versions on DVD). While these will no doubt look stunning on Blu, I just can't see re-buying 3 movies I already own, and then re-buy them all yet again a year later (for a total of 4 purchases per film). I can live with my DVDs until the inevitable extended cut releases on Blu.
This is just another big greedy money grab just like the first time they pulled this shit and I'm not going to support it. Fuck 'em, hope the Blu sales of the theatrical version tank.
The sad thing is, IT'S OUR OWN FAULT. Obviously this tactic worked for them last time.

i dont understand why people bought the theatrical versions at all. we all knew, before even the first one was released, that an extended version was coming. those are all i've ever owned. i waited for the dvd, and i can wait for the blu ray. it'll be worth it.

Same here, I never bothered with the Theatrical DVD's either. I'll wait for the Extended Blu-rays.

The difference with the DVDs is they didn't have the extended cuts edited yet, so they put out the theatrical cuts and then released the extended cuts later. On top of that, they told us they were doing it, so it wasn't as much a money grab. This time it is, since most anyone who wants to buy the Blu Ray, will want to buy the extended cuts. I hope they don't make a cent on the theatrical cuts!!

Totally agree- no reason that blu-ray shouldnt have BOTH cuts on the initial release.
Definitely buying these:
2/23 - ANALYZE THIS / ANALYZE THAT
2/23 - GRUMPY OLD MEN / GRUMPIER OLD MEN
8/10 - ACE VENTURE: PET DETECTIVE / ACE VENTURE: WHEN NATURE CALLS
Will wait for the EE versions of this:
4/06 - LORD OF THE RINGS Trilogy (theatrical versions)

Well, the Goodfellas 20th Anniversary Blu-ray (http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDCompare5/goodfellas.htm) is hardly any upgrade from the old Blu-ray...unless you count the previously released (but new to this) "Public Enemies" feature and digibook packaging.
The same exact transfer and encode was used that was on the old Blu-ray, and Warner didn't bother to upgrade the lossy audio either. I'm getting very skeptical about Warner's Blu-ray "reissues". They rarely ever try to improve on them from their previous incarnation. The same thing happened with the Christmas Vacation "Ultimate Edition" Blu-ray set. That one BADLY needed an upgrade from a paltry Dolby Digital 2.0 track at 192kbps which was no different than the old DVD editions.
On the other hand they are releasing a double feature Blu-ray of Spies Like Us & Funny Farm (http://www.hometheaterforum.com/products/funny-farm-spies-like-us-double-feature-blu-ray/reviews#1382), for the first time ever presented in widescreen and lossless audio. Apparently this is a Canadian exclusive release from Warner, due 2/23. No USA release date has yet been set.
