After Dark's ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction (2009) now has a Blu-ray street date in Germany. Retitled Zombieworld :eek2:
End of the Line (2007) will go HD in May.

I've only seen Messengers 2: The Scarecrow and I doubt I will get the Region B. I also doubt that Wyvern will benefit from HD.
I'm pretty sure there will be a Region A blu of Antichrist sooner or later but I'm definitely buying End of the Line. It got quite the postive buzz a few years ago and I never got around picking up the DVD. I will also look into Sauna, The Descent 2 and The Burrowers as they interest me as well.

I was doing some searching to see if Vidocq was on BD already in other countries and it turns out that this one has already been released in Germany (http://www.amazon.de/Vidocq-2-Disc-Special-Blu-ray-Depardieu/dp/B002I1XGLO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1268869816&sr=8-2). Looks like the upcoming one is a single disc edition (http://www.amazon.de/Vidocq-Single-Blu-ray-Gerard-Depardieu/dp/B003A5CQJ0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1268870189&sr=8-2) despite the fact that it costs more(!?).
It's been a while since I've seen this one but I remember really liking it and think that a BD viewing for it sounds about right for the next time I see it!

Only movie you mentioned that I would want is End of the Line. I have it on DVD but I'm sure it would be stunning in High Definition. Wish there was a region free Blu-Ray of it somewhere. :confused:

So I guess my last post here was OT (so here's another about the same... :] ) as [Rec]² does not appear to be region locked! I got the BD today, put it in my player without changing the region (defaults to Region A every time I turn it on so I usually do this to make sure the disc is actually locked), and it played fine. Could have sworn I read it would be but I just saw someone saying the same thing on another forum as well after a quick Google search so I guess not... Not bad considering that it's got English subs! :]

There's another release of Evil Dead 2 from Kinowelt, http://www.blurayreviews.ch/reviews/evil-dead-2-blu-ray-review.htm , can't tell for sure if it's any better than the Anchor Bay disc. Off the cuff it looks like the contrast ratio isn't toyed with as much but I'm not seeing more details. The reviewer also complains about "grain" so that's actually a positive in my book. Overall I can't trust the reviewer didn't screw up the screenshots with compression JPEG compression.

Needs more study!
