So for the past five or six years I've been trying to track this movie down after hearing how it's "So bad it's good". And now after years of searching, I finally got to see it thanks to a friend from work who owned a zombie triple feature containing this, Revolt Of The Zombies, and Night Of The Living Dead.

All I have to say is HOLY FUCKING SHIT BALLS!!!!! This movie sucks!!

I honestly don't know where to start with how baffling awful this movie really is. Not only is the production embarrassingly amateurish, but the story is so complex and convoluted I can't truly say I understood it. But for the sake of those who haven't seen it, I'll give it my best.

So, this generic 80's hair metal band travels to a remote town to perform their latest gig, only to find the town is the hiding place of Hitler and his wife Ava Brown who happens to transform at will into a werewolf (no, I'm not joking). With the help of midget ghouls, a shaved headed weirdo and a smokin' hot blond, they kill the band for the sole fact that Hitler hates rock music. After the band is buried in the backyard, a town local and fan of the band plays one of their songs in memo ram only to resurrect them. When revived, they kill Hitler and his goons which in turn resurrects them, kill more towns people. And while chaos is breaking loose as zombies kill more and more towns people, the band heads to their gig to perform some of the most god awful music one could imagine. By the end of the night, the group heads back to their graves, the town is over flooded with zombies and it's up the bands manager to save the day. He some how conveniences the group to not only come out and play again (apparently the zombies are attracted to their shitty music), but to lure the zombie horde into Hitler's mansion basement where he has a gas chamber where all the zombies die... end movie

24 hours later and I still can't wrap my brain around it. I think somewhere around the 30 minute mark I just stopped asking questions because none of them where being answered. It's so painfully bad to sit through that it honestly felt like 5 hours had past by the time the movie was over. If you haven't seen, avoid it like the plague.

I liked the music and the Hitler twist in the plot.

I remembered how much I hated this movie when I first saw this thread but then I started to remember all the crazy stuff that happens in it so I decided to give it another shot and wound up buying it on DVD. I kind of don't expect to like it this time around either but we'll see...

My buddy recommended this to me but he recommended it to me after he let me borrow his copy of Death Metal Zombies. Good god did that suck and to top it off, it had no death metal. What a let down. After that I passed on this. Well, after that and I think it was The Shivers (1998). Yeah, terrible, terrible shit.

I'm going to aggravate many people on this board by admitting this, but after tracking down Eraserhead a few years back, I felt the same way. I love Lynch's films, but not that one.
