Severin to release Birdemic

Severin Films has announced Birdemic: Shock and Terror for Blu-ray release on February 22. This love story/ horror shocker/ecological movie is an ultra-low budget homage to Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. Its sequel, Birdemic II: The Resurrection, is being readied for theatrical release in 2011.

Birdemic almost put Troll 2 to shame so it might be worth checking out.

I hope those horrible CGI FX was supposed to look that bad. When the camera moves the birds just stay almost frozen in the same position on screen instead of going with it :D

This is just WAAAAAAAAAY too crappy even for me, it makes Troll 2 look like Citizen Kane :D

I screened this film last June, and all I got to say is HOLY FUCK!

Do not watch this alone. Do not watch it with 2 or 3 other people. You must invite at least 10+ people over and experience Birdemic. It's the only way.

i first thought "Severin is releasing this, it must be some kind of documentary about bird attacks, something acclaimed"

then now i started watching the trailer on youtube and i immediately pre-ordered this on DVD, hopefully finally something to rival Troll 2

Hmmm never heard of this until seeing this thread but these comparisons to troll 2 has raised my interests considerably.
