View Full Version : Why no Omen IV on Blu-Ray/ Individual Omen sequel Blu-Ray releases?

I know Omen IV is a bad movie but it has it's moments with a decent soundtrack and actors (Michael Lerner and Don S. Davis). It was included with the other Omen films when it came out on DVD ten years ago but was not part of the Omen collection on Blu-Ray and it doesn't look like it'll come out on Blu-Ray at all. Anyone has any speculation on why this movie wasn't released on the format when there are many movies worse than Omen IV being released for it? I am equally puzzled why Fox didn't make any of the Omen sequels available separately on Blu-Ray as well. I know I'm being picky but I don't like not having individual cases for each movie with its own cover art and movie screenshots on the back of the box. If they give the original Omen and its remake a separate release, why not for the sequels as well?

That's a good question & one you would have to ask Fox.

I would but I'm sure they will just give an answer along the lines of something like:

"Thank you for your interest in Fox products. We currently have no plans to release Omen IV or make II and III available separately at this time."

In many parts of Europe this collection is available as a 3 movie boxset or as 3 individual releases. Still, no part 4.
