You can usually find pictures like that on imdb.com or ebay.com a lot of times in bigger sizes too. I like it too Leo, brings back good memories of these films!

As far as My Bloody Valentine is concerned, it is definitely a favorite on this board. I remember when I first came here that was one of the movies many of the posters were talking about, and when I finally saw it I agreed with them. It is very well done, has an interesting premise, and some enjoyable deaths. This summer I actually went to the shooting location, it was pretty cool to see the mine and the area around it in real time.

I love the ending too, it has a nice little twist to it, but nothing beats that wonderfully cheesy end credit song, classic!

Martin Blythe (PR representative for Paramount) stated on the Home Theater Forum that a DVD would be released sometime this year, so lets just hope Paramount follows through with this. I can guarantee you if we see it however, that it will be the theatrical cut, which is a shame, because I've heard a lot of great gore was cut out by the MPAA.

I remember Paramount went through that bizarre phase of cutting gory scenes from movies - before the theatrical prints had been struck. They did it with My Bloody Valentine, Friday 13th Part 2, and Friday 13th Part 6 - Jason Lives, too!
There were some incredible gory sequences in these movies - which unfortunately, never saw the light of a projector - in any territiry.

I did see a theatrical screening of My Bloody Valentine a couple of years ago - and it included the scene where the killer cuts off his own arm (when he's trapped under the rocks) was in there - which at that point, I'd never seen before. So that was cool.

It isn't really Paramount's fault (for a change). There was so much flack being sent in their direction by all the critics for releasing "morally wrong" material like Friday the 13th. Everyone was so shocked at what kind of gore was being accepted by the MPAA, that there were tonnes of lobbies against gore and other questionable material in mainstream cinema. So given the fairly hot waters of the time, we should actually be thanking Paramount (the horror!) for actually releasing several quality slashers, despite critical uplash.

But now that gore is less taboo, Paramount should get off their ignorant asses and give us uncut prints.
