I thought that the doc on Bad Taste was one of the more worthwhile I've seen in recent memory.

Anything that gives you insight on how the film was made, along with instructions, instantly earns my affection.

The behind the scenes on NOTLD '90 was good, though it would be better classified as a featurette. The cut gore was welcome, I thought.

I liked Opera's doc too. Well shot and edited.

I also N-joyed a hitchcock doc...the one that comes to mind is the doc for Vertigo. I love it when they discuss the remastering process & comparisons to the original "almost lost" footage.

Also Blade's documentary was not only informative, but included all the deleted scenes not available separately on the DVD....good stuff!!!

Psycho & The Birds are both well-done, as are most of the docs on Universal's Hitchcock series. I'm also usually very impressed with what Anchor Bay can put out when they get the right participants and footage together: take a look at the docs on Suspiria or Opera.

the doc. on The Shining was excellent, as is the commentary track on the remastered version of The Shining. (huge picture quality increase on the feature itself, too)

I also liked the 'Movie That Wouldn't Die!' on Carnival Of Souls: Criterion and Good Taste Made Bad Taste - I'm actually looking into buying some alginate to experiment with effects.

ok, so I'm pretty sure Savini, Baker and Bottin are gonna be safe. let me have my fun. :p
