The Devil's Backbone on R2 DVD

Don't know if this is old news, but Guillermo del Toro's "The Devil's Backbone" is out on region 2 DVD in the UK. It's released by Optimum Releasing. According to www.play.com it has the following extras:

-Behind the Scenes Featurette
-From Storyboard to Screen
-Special Effect Shot Creation
-Theatrical Trailer
-Interactive Menu
-Scene Access

It's released in anamorphic 1.85:1 and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo. I has a 15 certificate, and was passed uncut by the BBFC.

Does anyone own this release? Is it worth buying?

well i just looked and i couldnt find it. wait until june , because its coming out on region 1 a much better prospect

I havent seen this movie yet, but I'm awaiting the R1 release of it. All I have heard is good things about it. And I thought that Del Toro did a great job on Blade 2. Hope the movie lives up to the hype I've heard.

A great movie but the R2 disc is a big letdown, it is non anamorphic and the subs are on the lower black bar which is really poor going for owners of widescreen tv's.
