View Full Version : Just saw Evil Dead 2.. Another other funny gorefests?
I saw Army of Darkness first, then didn't care for Evil Dead 2.. But last night I was bored and a little drunk so I watched it again and ended up loving it..
Can anyone recommend any other funny gore movies? Either american or euro, doesn't matter.. ED2 was cool, and I liked the last 30 minutes of Dead Alive.. Sort of gives you an idea of what I'm looking for. Nonstop blood and gore from beginning to end.. http://www.horrordvds.com/forum/smile.gif

Also try Dead Alive. It's a very far out tongue in cheek super gory fun fest. You'll also see that sam raimi's visions are ripped off at times but it's still a great beer flick.

Get a bunch of brewskis, invite the guys over, and watch Bloodsucking Freaks and Ilsa - She-Wolf of the SS. Classic!

May the Hammer eternally bleed!
Thanks everybody.. The ones I've seen so far are Cemetery Man (waiting on my R2 DVD from Sazuma), Dead Alive (didn't care a whole lot for the first hour or so.. but you have to love the last 30mins.. I'm warming up to it), Reanimator and Bloodsucking Freaks (I'll probably pick up this DVD.. even though I'm not in love with the movie)
The Convent looks great! Its already out on DVD in R2 but its not widescreen.. Hopefully they'll release it here soon. I want to check out Bad Taste for sure, I also want to start checking out some Fulci movies.

Jack Frost 2 - very cheesy but some nice funny gore.
Modern Vampires - ignore the cover art which makes it look like a Blade ripoff.

"Oh, I get it, just in case we kill lots of innocent people."
