I don't have my collecting in a database yet. Got a friend at work building a custom db for me -- so it will be useful if I ever get off my duff and into one of my writing projects!

As of right now the games only support 480P, but their is supposed to be support for 1080i in future games.

480P looks damn fine on and HDTV.

I actually don't keep my Xbox hooked up to the nice TV as I am scared of burn it. :) I have it on a 50" non HDTV but got the stuff to hook it to my HDTV, so I tried it a little bit. :)

Am I alone in saying that these posts are getting lame? I dont want to open a thread with 20+ replies and see everyone's collection since most of us have the same goddamn movies. I have 685 DVDs. There you go. I dont want to post a huge fuckin list that NO ONE wants to read. I personally (and no offense to anyone, really) dont give two shits who has what and how many. I want to see posts about shit I actually CARE about. Not "Hey, I've got a lot of discs, so I'll waste 3 fucking pages of replies to post them." Just my thoughts........

I like reading other people's list of DVDs cuz they tell a little bit about what that person likes and what they are interested in. And the link option (instead of a 100+ list) is way easier on the eyes and less messy.;)

David666

I own "O" as well, thought it was a very good film... and the lead in this film was infinatly better then Denzel in that POS "Training Day."

Give it a try, it's not a bad film by any means, the performances are very good and the direction pretty good as well... even if the writing is a bit off at times the cast holds it together.

One copy of Beyond the Darkenss showed up at my Best Buy yesterday.

It seems as thought BB only gets one copy of the SS stuff. Over the last several weeks I picked up their only copies of Cannibal Aypocolpse and Jungle Holocaust.

Maybe they will notice these discs sell quickly and start ordering two per store. :)

right now I am smarting because the copy of the new 2 Disc Starship Troopers was missing the DVD with the movie on it. Now I gotta go back and battle Best Buy and hope they replace it. I have noticed they never never seem to care at the Customer Service desk how big a customer you are. They would screw you for 50 cents even if it meant lossing $200+ a week in sales.

Best Buy can be a god send and a pain in the arse all at the same time. BB should really order more units of Shriek Show and Synapse movies because I have had problems in the past not being able to find a title because they ordered a small amount of copies.

It's funny, now that HD DVD and Blu Ray are here it seems like we're getting a ton of great DVD releases this year - DVDs that we should have gotten years ago. (Halloween 4 and 5 DiviMax, Halloween: 25 Years of Terror, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre 2-Disc Ultimate Edition from Dark Sky, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2: 20th Ann. 2-Disc SE from MGM/Sony, a 16x9 enhanced Black Christmas from Critical Mass, etc.) I guess the studios are wanting to pimp out DVD to the extreme while they can.

Awesome selection. Watch out though, as you are close to the 500 limit on the site. I had to put mine into folders eventually; I chose to separate mine by decade instead of genre, but to each their own.

Thats a good point but I don't think DVD is going anywhere for awhile. After I picked up HDTV I was nervous about the quality but it still looks fantastic. I will only upgrade when either 2 things happen:

1. Xbox 360 gets an attachable HD-DVD drive for $100 - $200
2. I can not get DVDs anymore

NICE!!!! I didn't know there was an Annihilator DVD!!! Fun Palace live, that is fucking sweet! And as keep looking I see the Candlemass DVD too damn bro, I need to do get these.

Thanks everyone. ;)

I didn't know there was a limit to the site, so yeah I'll have to re-think the set up a bit. How can I make subfolders?

I dig King Diamond but not to buy the same remastered CD just for the bonus footage. No big deal cuz chances are that footage will make it's way onto a proper DVD release later on down the road.
