Yea, I just saw an ad for this on Fangoria's website. I'm huge on Jap. cinema right now, so I'll watch just about anything I can get my hands on. Is this on DVD yet?

Poker has a region 3 out. But if you live in the U.S., Tokyo Shock is releasing it on June 25th. It should have an anamorphic transfer. Tokyo Shock has finally done anamorphic transfers on their last couple of releases(Gonin 2, Black Angel), so hopefully this will recieve anamorphic treatment as well.
Now if we can just talk Tokyo Shock intro rereleasing Misa the Dark Angel with a new and anamorphic transfer. That dvd looks horrible. Hopefully someone will put out the first Eko Eko Azarak movie as well, since it blows Misa away.
By the way, does anyone know how to contact Tokyo Shock since they've updated their site? The emails I've sent get bounced back.

It's available in the UK on a PAL region 0 DVD. Apparently it's called "Freezer" there:

I saw Media Blasters DVD of "Freeze Me" last night. I think it's a pretty good movie and I recommend asian horror fans check it out. The movie has a couple rape scenes in it which might bother some people. These scenes are not too extreme and don't last very long so it's not too big of a deal. There is a lot of other violence toward the heroine also.
The DVD can be watched in either Japanese with Subtitles or English dubbed. I watched the dubbed version which wasn't bad at all. Check it out.

I've had Media Blaster's version for a few months now. I like the film alot and I found the ending to be kinda cool. Any Asian horror cinema fan should check it out.

Add my "thumbs up" for Freeze Me.
It's a pretty intense film, one where you would just like to see the protagonist waste the bastards right away...but I will avoid further spoilers. If you like thematic films--we seem to be able to get them only from Asia these days--you'll like it, too. The woman gets "frozen" from a traumatic event she can't move past; that idea gets handled in disturbing and artistic ways for the entire film. Cool.

I'm a huge fan of Asian Horror Cinema and had been waiting for this one for awhile. I must say, I really thought it fucking blew big time donkey nuts. Thank you.
