Anyone know if the awesome direct to video movie Scarecrows is on tab for a DVD release? I thought it was a great film. It was one of the few horror films that went direct to video in the 80's that definitely shoulda got at least a limited theatrical run.

I have this on laserdisc. It would be great to see what it would look like on dvd with improved contrast since it is such a dark movie. I'm sure we'll see it someday.

Congratulations on finding this!
I love this old movie. I have bought it on VHS 3 different times trying to get a better picture.
This is something that I would love to have on DVD!

I've been keeping an eye out for this movie, too. As well as Body Parts, Witchboard, Waxwork (R1), Prince of Darkness, and several others. With some of the cheesy flicks that do get a DVD release, I'm often surprised when better quality films do not.

AMEN to that. Is Killer SHrews so much more worthy then Scarecrows? I think not.

This is one of the best movies of all time. The scene where the scarecrows put a bag on one of the mans head and then jams a rambo knife into his face is brutal.Or the hacking up of there own man whos turned evil into a bloody stump of nothing.
I lost my tape of this a long time ago so if you see it for r1 2 3 whatever post plz.:)
